runoff pH

How important is runoff pH?

I have 2 plants of the same strain in separate containers made from the same soil comprised of promix hp, 2 tbsp/gal dolomitic limestone, perlite, some sheep manure as top dressing and bone meal sprinkled under the roots before transplanting. I fed maxibloom at 6.5pH today and in one I was getting 5.1ph runoff while the other was coming out at 6. What is going on in the soil that's causing this difference?

I've been having a hard time finding information about runoff pH as some say it doesn't matter while others say to adjust feed pH to be higher than the ~6.5pH for soil/soilless so that runoff matches that range. Obviously both are dropping in pH and I'm guessing I need to add more limestone into the mixture to buffer the pH. I'm about day 15 into flower at this point so would a transplant be warranted?

it means nothing, but more important is, do your plants show signs of a problem? if not, why are you looking for one?

It does have a deficiency in the lower leaves with at least a couple leaves. Seems like a whole bunch of stuff from the burned tips to the edges getting brown like theres a potassium deficiency. These don't reach the canopy so I'm wondering if the plant isn't pruning but I know some deficiencies start on the lower leaves.

This plant in general isn't growing as vigorously as it's clone sisters so I thought the runoff pH was telling me something.

in soil potassium can be absorbed from pH 5.5 and upwards. I'm sorry but I have no idea if the intake beyond those numbers completely halts or only stiffles this.
