Running fitness and smoking

Would you say smoking weed with a pipe would particularly hold back running fitness?.

Can mostly take it or leave it being why smoking it with a pipe is my choice, more convenient. If it's too damaging then suppose eating will be the only option.

Before you run? Not sure it is the best for endurance cardio but it is great for pain relief on never ending trudges. After running? Fuck yeah. Didn't hurt Michael Phelps any, and I used to marathon while smoking regular, but mostly after my runs, not before.

I use to use a pipe and I am a mountain biker that rides 3-4 times a week. I switched to a vaporizer and do not combust anymore and I notice a big difference in my breathing and stamina while riding. Lungs feel 10x better. I also get to hit the vape before a ride and it's amazing. Been vaping for 2 years and I won't go back to combustion. My body is much happier.

I'm in the same boat as Rezin... switched to vaping my weed about 3yrs ago and never looked back. I swim 2-3km 3-4x/week and get high before and after... lungs have never felt better! Highly recommend the e-nano vape with a bong, hits very nicely... and stretches your herb much further!
