ok I try to keep it simple (if possible)

did a runnoff test on my soil (water with 6,5 PH)

and normaly its around 6 but now its suddenly dropped to 5,5 maybe even 5 ..

plants are 3 weeks in to flowering in 7 gallon pots .. and I use floraduo micro/bloom and Epsom salt ..

made a soil test and it show a PH around 5 - 5,5

I may add that all PH tests ... boath in water and soil have been made with them water/soil PH test kits you can buy cheap ..

so accuraty is not 100% but I have made the soil test before in veg and it gave me a PH of about 1 point higher 6-6,5

plants do look good ... had a few curld leaves a week ago .. so made a good flush and begon to feed agin ..

water with 1-1½ gallon of tab water evry seccon day in each pot .. and add nuts evry time/seccon time .. on a light dose (lucas 3/6 ML micro/bloom per gallon)

and new growth do look nice (strait)

get a yellow leave or two at the bottom evry day that drop off if I dont ..

question ..

is it sumthing to worry about ?

some say that you need to worry about soil PH .. and add sumthing to get it up if needed ..

and some agin say not to worry .. that soils will buff it up agin and the only thing thats importent is that the water you put in is 6,5 or so ...

Im a bit confused I have to admit ..

do I act now and do sumthing (please suggest sumthing... Maerl maybe .. can get that in my local store) before it might become a problem ...

or just wait it out ... maybe do another flush ?

I also read you could use bakeing soda !!! ???? I dont think I like to put that in my soil (but dunno .. I have no clue whats in it ?)

will be able to get the maerl in 4 days .. untill then I cant realy do much .. unless anybody have another suggestion ?

When you measure the runoff PH do you measure the initial runoff or let it run through for a bit then measure it?

Are you seeing any signs of deficiencies?

I would not worry if I were you, I have always had a lower run off of around 6 and never had any problems with PH. However next time I would advise using some Dolomite lime to get your PH closer to 6.5.

yea well .. I normal also have around 6 PH in runnoff when I water with 6,5

and I did test boath fist few drops and of it hole container .. same result more or less ..

and I read that ½ to 1 point lower in runnoff is normal ..

but it drop like 1 point more now ..

I test with one of them small cheap test kits from GH .. 6,5 water is light green .. when it comes out its yellow (= 6PH)

but now it turns oranges = 5

so I did a soil test to comfirm (have a small test kit like the one for water .. but this is for soild) same result .. a point lower then last I check ..

dunno if it is just Bc. ther are more nuts in the water/soil now then in veg with smaller plants and less watering ?

only thing I would like to know is if I schould worry or not and if is ther is sumthing I can do before it actualy become a problem/show signs of deficiencies ..

I have hard water (18,4) and leading abbility is like 70Sm ! PH 7,8
it have a lot of lime in it as it is ground water and is stored in lime stone (just dont know if it is the right type of lime)
I addjust it to 6,5 ... was wondering if I could addjust it "less" maybe to 7 and water with that to raise it slowly or wont that do a diffrent ?
