r.1. h.x.t.#4-r2. sxt#8, r3. sx 4 pheno 4r4. berries..JPG I did once and switched back to cmh. Less heat and fuller spectrum works for me. my plants thank me ,lol. I seamed to get better expression too. I ran a hps as the center light with this set up and took it out too. .Back in 03 .lol. Ill never go back ,lol.

If you can get ceramic hps`s or double ended ones then maybe

I would look for a cmh with a 3200k to 4000k rating see if the extra reds help

hps can yield a lot more but in hotter places they can add a lot of extra heat

hps teamed up with CMH can give you very good buds and a good gpw and cost a lot less than new types of lights (led, lep, induction and such)....... hps and cmh seem to do pretty well in regards to yield and buds it`s not like when you just by any old led light that can give a far broader range of results for sure...... but good cob leds are worth looking into and I like induction lamps too....... maybe more for side light/extra frosting if you`re already a HID grower and like CMH

I may add maybe try adding some 3000k or 5000k cob leds to your set up....... 3000k in flower is more like hps so bigger buds more hairs....... 5000k is more like MH so more frost and the plants change colour sooner

I already own the CMH bulb I was just curious about there being and benefit to running HPS instead I do have a 150w HPS that I may add in the room as well

yeah a 150w hps could add you 100g to 300g just watch out how much heat your running

but that ballast could probably be used to run a 150w cmh...... but 150w is a nice lil boost..... actually you could run the hps 12 to 14 hours per day and the cmh like 10 to 12....... hps`s have less blues and a lot of far end reds this simulates sun rise and sun set more..... effects the flowering hormones a bit less...... but a great way to yield more..
