Rule of thumb for container size.

This is a 4ft plant grown in a 3 LITRE (not gallon) POT.
And this is the roots after harvest and its far from rootbound.

Nope, lol, i just chalked him up as one of the many who after losing their main account(usually through fights/disagreements with mods, which way back he did, but at the same time we all did our best and helped him to get it back that time) they've had forever who just get so fed up they leave. i didnt notice till he signed a rep he gave me, as soon as i saw chris i instantly realized who it was. On a similar topic- their is someone named Ludokruis ive seen aound lately, that isnt another account of yours is it chris? just wondering.

Yeah, I wonder about ludokruis as well. I got a friendship request about a week ago from him. I haven't accepted it yet.

How can you tell when someone is banned - I can´t see anything to that effect on SIR SMOKER´s post above.

You can use party cups or anything you like, but the bigger the better the plant will be.

i read the complete opposite somewhere, that it is better to get you're plant into a large container as soon as possible. It supposely tricks the plant into thinking it has unlimited space so the roots grow faster. This grow i think i kept them in the 1 gallon containers a lil too long i think. It took about three days for them to get over the shock of transplant. But they been in the 5 gallon almost two weeks now and growing huge. I think i def have too many plants. 24 plants in two 4x4 grow boxes. 12 are under a 600watt hps and have been flowering for about a week and are growing tall FAST. I been bending and shit but i dont have much space between the plants either. Time to get rid of some i guess..anyy ideas? Theyre so big and beautifull i dont want to just kill em.

Definitely agree...the bigger the roots the bigger the plant, bigger the bud....

Wow... you should have seen my godzilla's roots, they were insane! I mean not one speck of dirt fell off that baby, it was the size of a 5 gallon! The roots were huge!!! Put them in a 10 gallon and they are off and running, plant has grown 17" or more since then.... she's about 5ft or more...

Right, Right!!! LOL... I'm not a experienced grower of ganja, but I've been gardening since I was 6yrs old... my grandmother lived with us and she grew everything, if you stood still too long she would try to plant you...for real! she had an endless list of fruits and veggies, flowers, bushes, trees... we had corn, carrots, lettuce, potatoes,tomatoes, any pepper you can imagine, radishes, pumpkins, watermelon, strawberries, apple trees, pear trees, raspberries, peas, beans... rubarb, sweet potatoes....you get the idea! I never seen my grandmother flush anything... I try to apply common sense to growing... my gram is 92yrs old and still kicking it... and we ate everything home grown and home made! I think the whole flushing thing is something someone made up to make themselves feel better... I don't know maybe someone has a good reason for it or a good explanation of why you should? But I get the advancement of growing, but the ol skool growers just know. I could call my gram right now and give her a seed and she'd have that baby growing like a damn bean stalk!!! she wouldn't use no fancy shit...

If your using organic nutes a flush isnt really that important imo, but i can for sure tell a difference on buds grown with chemical nutes if theyve had a flush or not. the bud doesnt taste the same and doesnt seem to burn as well. Just saying, maybe you guys dont notice one and if thats so more power to you but i personally have/do.
