Nope to both. My grandparents have the fortune of receiving SS, but my parents generation had theirs taken away from them.
Pretty sure they get like 150$/mo after contributing well over 1million... Unless I'm mistaking it for another govt program.

so unless they started at age -24 and made $110,000 for 73 years (each), they did not contribute anywhere near what you blindly claimed.
