Rubbermaid Stealth Grow: Northern Lights x Blueberry

Hey everyone,

First time growing, and I'm really excited.

Here is my data:

Strain: Northern Lights x Blueberry Feminized, from Delicious seeds
Mostly Indica
Single plant for this grow

I germed this seed simply by putting it in a pot and keeping the soil moist with pHed water.

I have Miracle-gro All purpose plant food for veg, and I am going to use Miracle-gro bloom booster when the plant goes into flowering.

Soil: Espoma organic potting mix

So far for watering I have just been putting my finger an inch or two down in the pot to check if moist, and watering if it is dry.

Also, I am using a 1 42 Watt 2700k (150 watt equiv) and 1 23 Watt CFL 6500k(100 watt equiv.). I will be on a 18/6 light schedule until It is a decent height or if I get suggestions, I will then switch 12/12.

When it comes to pH I'm using a GH pH Control kit.

If there is anything I didn't tell you about my grow feel free to ask.

Here are some pictures of my grow setup:

My progress so far(day 11 currently):

That's all for now, I will keep you all posted every few day or so.

Day 13:

My plant has begun to grow vertically along with the addition of two nodes(I believe they are called):

I have decided to name him/her Betty, despite the actual sex of the plant.

Good to see your plant is getting some height. I'm still trying to get mine to pop out of the soil, but I'm impatient haha.

Day 15:

Here Betty is at mid-day of day 15:

As you can see she has grown quite a bit since the last update, and she is still looking healthy.

Wouldn't a better stealth option be just having 2 or 3 of those rubber maids stacked on top of eachother and hollowing it out making it look like just a stack of rubbermaids, this way your plant could be taller.

yes that would be a better option, but my way suffices for the stealth aspect of this grow.

I don't know from personal experience, but I have heard good things. I am going to get some ONA blocks when I put Betty into flowering, but for veg the carbon filter is doing fine

Day 17:

Betty is at day 17 she is really starting to turn into a bush. I added some more soil so she wouldn't scrape against the wall:

She is still looking healthy (no nutes yet), and has been growing well as far as I can see. At the moment I am using two 23-watt 6500k cfls and one 42-watt 2700k cfl.

any suggestions on what type of super cropping technique to use, and when I should start it (other than Srcog, because I will fuck something up if I attempt it)?

Hey everyone I was wondering if I could take a cup of white vinegar and put it in my grow box to eliminate the smell. Will is hurt anything/cause problems?

If you throw an ona bloc in there or light a candle or inscence(sp?) It should cover it up for such a small grow!
