What up everyone? Have a question concerning the slow flowering pheno of sour kush. Ive got 10 grows under my belt and have learned a lot of lessons in each grow. ( Patience, ignoring breeder flowering time, purchasing a microscope, LST, Topping, Longer Veg cycles ) Was just wondering if anyone else has grown this pheno? I grew her in a 3 gallon pot,Vegged under cfl's and 250 mh. Topped at 6th node and removed lower 2 branches to create 4 main branches. Spread out and tied down those branches to create 14 top buds! Flowered under 250 Hps alone as to absorb all available light. Hell shes 2 feet wide! Fed Fox Farm nutrients.
This is my first time creating a canopy like this of all tops! The plant drinks a lot! I would think that has to do with so much plant matter in that small of a pot. My temps with lights on range from 75 - 83 depending on the weather outside affecting room temps. Im kinda surprised at how skinny most of the tops are! Got some top foxtailing on 3 of the 14. Smell has gotten strong in flower, and she is packing on resin. Its been in 12/12 for 8 weeks now. Bud to leaf ratio is not what Im used to. Trimming will be intense!
I was wondering if anyone else has come across this pheno? It looks like 11 weeks at least for ripeness. Everything is still green, no leaching yet. Trichs are close to 50/50 clear and cloudy. Did see a little amber. Just wanna know what to expect in finished product. Type of high, taste, smell intensity? Any help will be appreciated.
