Routers, Laptops, First Gen ps3's

is it possible to have a wireless router, which is used by my laptop for internet etc.. and then use my laptop for a wired outbound connection to my first gen ps3 that does not have wireless capabilities.

essentially it would be router (wireless) -> Laptop (wired) -> ps3.

yea its called ICS built into windows. Internet Connection Sharing.
its kind of a pain in the ass to setup though if you dont understand routing. And I cant remember your political stance from the other part of the site so Im not going to do a deep dive for you in case you are a dirty libtard. lol.

im canadian and believe that were all equal so we should spend a little more time trying to understand each other, why we do the things we do and how to help each other live in a better society.....

Yes. I used to do this with my older xbox. So, it can't be that different. It is in the settings for the Laptop. Assuming windows 7? I think you want ad hoc network for the laptop. No that's not it. Standby.
