Round 3 Purple Diesel 600W Vert Cab

Hey everybody, just finished up my second harvest of 22 Purple Diesels, and and 20 Blue Dots, got around 15-18 oz.

Ive been enjoying the Purple D alot, and was gettin lots of comments about the bag appeal, so I decided to give it a second shot.

After bug bombing my apartment, repainting the insides of the cab, and attempting to scrub all the hard water deposits off the hydro equip, I finally have my 59 Purple Diesel clones, full rooted and planted in the walls.

My plans for this second grow will be adding another 2 growwalls to the sides of the box, and then removing the reflector in the cooltube and finally taking advantage of the vertical style. This will give me enough room to have a plant in every other planter, which seems to be the perfect amount of space so that they dont over crowd.

But I'm tired as shit. I've been in a mad rush for the last 3 days, and just pulled an all nighter trying to get these clones in before they dry out and start witherin on me.

this set up is amazing. after almost 9 months of putting together the perfect system, i have a request. could u post a few more pics to give me a better idea of your setup? i get my new pad beginning of may and DAMN! im going to have to price this setup out. thanks bro. +rep even tho riu wont let me yet!

Alright here are some pictures of Day 7 of of 12/12 and Day 1 of pistils.

The plants are looking kinda beat up. I've been giving them bushmaster, azamax, sm-90, and a very light nute soup of about 500ppm. Unfortunately they are still looking a bit stressed, so hopefully after a res change tomorrow they will green up and start gettin bigger.

I've been having issues with watering my rockwool. How long does rockwool contain water, because i'm trying to figure out the best watering schedule, and I know that 15mins on is far too long. Thinking about going with one of those ART-DNe recycle timers and having it run for like 1-2 min on and maybe 15mins to 2hrs off in between waterings.

You're in luck cuz its time for the weekly update.

The babies have been in the box for 2 weeks now, but i feel like they are quite runty this round.

I must have given them the bushmaster a bit early, or they just could have used a week of veg before flippin em. Anybody can see whats wrong with em? I'm kinda at a loss why they arent doin as well as last time.

Hey everybody heres the lates pics from the batch. 4 days ago I made the switch to Humboldt Nutrients, and it's made all of the difference for the ladies, I also had my HPS bulb burn out on wednesday night, so it went 12 hrs with a slight glow instead of real light.

I plan on adding the other 2 growwalls and removing the reflector in the cooltube as soon as i can scrape together the 270 bucks.

Here are some week 4 picture updates.







Gave the babies a dose of Gravity at 1.5ml/gallon, Humboldt Nutrients Micro/Bloom at 400ppm, Excel Systemic Fungicide @ 1ml/gallon (last dose because it will be in there till i start the flush), and also 5ml/gallon of Azamax.

The plants are startin to stink, and also startin to purple up. As soon as i'm done running the Gravity, and can bring my ppms back up to normal feeding levels, I will be running some PurpleMaxx, although it is some pricey shit at 49 bucks for an 8oz bottle, so I hope it really does show better purples than the Snowstorm Ultra did.

Thanks guys, here's the latest weekly update. I've had a pretty bad leak behind the center growwall, probably due to a rushed mounting, so i'm planning on redoing that in the next few days. I started running purple maxx yesterday, and I took the pictures right before the res change. Keeping the ppms around 900, added some epsom salts for the extra mag, and i've begun to see a few spider mites too, so i'm going to need to use the rest of my azamax quite soon.

Aside from that here are some pics, i'm planning on lettin em go for another 3 weeks.

Well it was on the first page, but yeah, its pretty stealthy, i have some minor light leaks i need to take care of, and the thing hums pretty loud (8 inch fan, plus 8000 btu ac runnin in there) but its not audible outside my studio apartment door.


I dont think i have it 100% dialed in yet, because id still like to make the switch to a 2 hose portable ac, and reintroduce my co2 setup.
