Round 2: Extrema & El Monstre DWC Cooler Scrog

I knew that the yellow leaves were only coming from one side of the plant.
I now know that it is alternating leaves. What I mean is..
One leaf has all green on the right side and yellow on the left and the next leaf the colors switch.
It is split evenly down the very center of the leaves which is very cool looking.
Never seen any shit like this before. Lol

That is some crazy shit right there. That better turn out to be the female!! Or are they all doing it the same? You are very right this is very very kool looking. Deff not something I have ever seen. Stay high bro!

I'm hoping it's a female. It's the only one that is has any yellow in the leaves. Just cool how it's alternating leaves.

Thanks DL!! Yep, seem to be healthy and the yellow is a bright yellow not a faded pale deficient yellow.
No worries here. I know they will bounce back and then I will flip to 12/12 and install the screen again.
Still getting used to the multiple rez setup as opposed to one big rez.

that color change is so fn cool, looks like it was airbrushed on. have you started a cut or two? dont let that one get away. wondering if it would cary over into clones? should as they are a doup. you may have the only one dude. love it...

I wanna see the buds do that.. You could probably sell a clone of that for big bucks in Cali.. Think of the marketing with half albino buds, nobody would give a shit about purps any more!

I'm just hoping it's a female. Then I may pull some cuttings from it. It should carry over as long as I cut from the side with yellow leaves.
That would be bad ass if it carried over to the budz. Not sure it will but it would definitely be cool to see some different colored budz.

Dam blu that really is cool as phuck! I didn't even notice that the lime green was actually halfing the fans like that! Cool shit man. I wouldn't be suprised if the nuggz at the internodes the leafs are being thrown from did turn that lite lime green color man can't wait to see how this turns out! Dude u may even want to snag a cut if its a male and see if the BALLS turn that color. I've seen bud that color bro if it ends up being a male and he throws balls like that id have to say chances are hiigh its going to produce offspring with that color nuggz. I'm sayin my buddy has a purple isis male whose actual balls turn brite purp and when he uses it to make seeds its offspring are purp plants mostly. Its really interesting.

I was messing with the roots on one of the plants the other day tearing off rotted roots.
I was hoping they would grow back and re root but they haven't so I chopped the plant up today.
Down to the El Mon clone and the yellow leaf Extrema. Hoping for twin ladies.
The roots and plants on these two are great and healthy. I will post pics tomo.
Installed the screen today also and will be switching to flower within the week.
Should still turn out to be a good grow in the end.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, Hope the flip goes well. Have you ever tried DM Zone in your res?

Nope I haven't tried the Zone yet but am considering it for my next grow.
That will be a lil while though as I will get new strains and new nutes to work with.
I think the flip will go good. I knew when I was messing with the plant that I was gonna cause problems.
That's why I only did it to the one. It's all good though. No worries!!

Thanks DL! My head is up and looking forward to the rest of the grow. Lesson learned..

Finally got the roots back to healthy and got the babies back under the screen.
Ran out of Veg nutes so I put a light dose of bloom nutes in the rez.
I will let them go a few days and see how they react and let them grow into the screen a bit before flipping to 12/12
I'm pretty confident in the way they are growing now. Bout damn time!!
As you can see from the pics that with my low screen height of 8 inches.
Even my lower branches will grow into the screen which will result in alot less cutting from underneath.
IMO all that undergrowth is a complete waste of time and budz.

I decided to take some more pics of the babies today.
They don't seem to mind my company and love to be photographed.
At this age they should already be in flower but issues occur sometimes. The time is near.
The roots and plants are looking very healthy, so I expect to see some good growth.

At least they still have a nice healthy dark green color.

These two are fine and are growing healthy. The other Extrema is the only one I messed with and I killed it.
Just waiting for a couple more of the El Monstre to reach thru the screen then I will flip to flower.
As long as the yellow leaf is a female then I should have a good harvest.
If they are both female I hope for bout 8 oz dry. If it's male then I hope to pull 3-5 oz dry from the one clone

Finally have some healthy roots again.. They have looked like shit for the past week or so.
