To swap / processing ounces of bud for rosin or similar for 20% of the origional quantity... is it worth it?

I'm working on that.
I've been smoking weed for over 45 years and I'm getting a smokers cough, so I'm switching to concentrates to dab.
Did a batch of ISO oil last plant, got 20something grams, but it wasn't worth the 2 days work
This time it's Dry Ice & Bubble Bags, I have some freeze-drying right now

I've tried bubble hash. With trim. Was very low yeild. No dry ice though. Just filter bags and frozen trim in ice water.

Just bought myself a Rosin press, and yeah it is worth it to me. I find doing dabs to be a totally different buzz entirely, in a good way.

Concentrating is exactly that... I normally smoke flower, at the moment I have flower, hash, canna caps and a few cookies.
2 days to make ISO is crazy.. did u fall asleep? takes me 2 hrs to do canna iso caps from start to finish.
Is it worth it? yea cause it is. Don't have to do it all the time though.

Freeze Dry - better part of a day.
Wash, strain(overnight) & filter - hours
Reclaim 3gal ISO - all day.

Iso is cheap I don't bother reclaiming but im using less than a Litre per oz run,. I use to use Ethanol but that's expensive if your not reclaiming.
I do an ounce of bud once a month for a cancer patient. As I said takes me a couple hrs including putting into caps. Of that decarbing approx. 40 mins, simmering the alcohol off about 30 mins, then the rest of the time is filling caps. The stripping or wash is like 2 quick runs of 1 min. That doesn't take long at all.
But yea I wouldn't do it either if it took 2 days.

Ordered a bubble hash cross strain, so I may try a press one or two nugs of that in a few months. You guys had experience with Bubble Hash x Muay Thai?
