Rosin Curing/Shelf life?

Not sure which section concentrates should go in.
Anyways, I'm finding mixed information online. Some sites say that the shelf life of rosin is 1-2 weeks, other sites are saying it is best cured in jars for months, soooo......which is it?
How long can rosin stay good in a sealed jar?

im not much help any time I make rosin I go thru it. I usually throw it on parchment and freeze it until I wanna use it.
