Rosin color when pressing trim

When I press trim I end up with a dark color rosin and want to know if I dry sift the trim and use the kief to make the rosin will it also be dark or will it be golden like flowers make?

it will definitely come out lighter in color as long as you don't sift for too long. Try squishing kief from different sifting times and u will see the difference...good luck

So I've done 2 dry sifts from trim rosin runs, one with gg4 other cookie wreck. Both came out way nicer then using flowers and way way nicer then straight trim. Both have came out golden buttery and full of terps at 170f on press. I dry sifted first through a 220 micron then another cleaning sift through a 160 micron. Probably won't press anymore flowers unless I run them in washer to make water hash first.

Dry sift I press at 170f for 2.5 minutes in a 37 micron bag. If i do press flower which i prefer not to, i press at 200f in a 120 micron bag for 2.5 minutes.
