Roots Hanging I Water??

How can you prevent or do you have to even, the roots from your moms ect. from just sitting in the water? Even with two tubs they find a way down or are washed into the drain holes. Tried some screen and had no luck. Help???!!!

Yes clones, seedlings, moms that will be in the tubs for a long time. Have two tubs for each, clones and moms, One on top of the other for a total of four tubs. Most concerned for the moms that will be in the tubs pretty much forever so don't know what to do??

Its not harmful to the plants if thats what your wondering.

its fine for the roots to be sitting in the water, its not going to hurt them. if your having a problem with roots blocking drainage the only thing i could really suggest is a screen (but looks like you may have tried that already)
