roots falling off dwc 3 gallon

I recelty switched my airstone from alittle quarter sized airstone to one that's about 5 inchs long, noticed shortyl after small little roots floating around in the water, temp never over 65 in the bucket, won dering if the larger airstone has knocked off these roots or I have a larger problem? roots look good no sign of root rot thanks

As long as your roots arent meshed together and brown and smelly/slimey you're good.

My roots are huge in 3 gal bucket with same size air stone. When cleaning my buckets I find little roots floating around.
