Roots Coming out of Pots?

I just took a look at my girls and noticed the roots are starting to come out of the opening of the bottom of the pot. Is this a bad thing? Should I put some tape over the opening to stop the roots from coming out? Has this happened to anyone else?

Repot ASAP!

The last thing you want to do is stop the roots..!

Go at least a gallon size bigger...at least.

Roots are life...and in soil the last thing you need is for the bad boys to become root bound or die ( due to exposure to air)

Repot...

Why are stilling you reading this post.?....go repot.!.....just kidding.;)

Not kidding about re-potting..but having to do it right now...you know what I mean.

Gah... that Silver Haze is turning me into a vegetable...

In my garden (ebb/flow) the few that do tend to poke out just end up pruning themselves, but the pot's big enough. How large is your container and the age of your plant?

It's the roots seeking out more room to grow. I suggest that you re-pot them in bigger pots.

Good job Balz!!!

He just answered your question for ya Mr. Peckneck. He's right.. your plants roots, are root-bound.. and need more room to grow.

Also, you should probably do this fairly quickly.. because roots and light.. don't get along at all. If you don't do it fairly quickly.. say bye bye to your babies.

Good luck.
peace.

Ehhh it's not so much roots and lights, more like roots+light+air=dead roots

Roots are fine as long as they don't dry out.

Im using 2.76 Liter pots already. If I go any bigger I wont be able to get them all under the light. I have 4 girls under 150w hps.
