Roots coming out of pot??

What up guys just wanted to know if it was normal for the roots to be coming out the sides of my smart pots?(its a pot made of a black cloth). i know the roots are not sopos to get light but at the same time i dont want to cut the roots coming from the side of the smart pot,its my first time using this pots, will it affect the plant?. what do you guys say?

Just add more soil ?

Yeah that's what the smart pots are made for. The roots go through then air prune themselves and shoot back some other way in the soil. If you look again later those roots won't be there.

the roots are coming out of the sides of the pot not from the top

I trim them all the time. They will grow a bunch of smaller finer roots to consume more.
