Hello all. This thread is going to be bear for a bit as I wait to get a working camera, hell I may even use my computer's shitty camera in an attempt to show you my progression. I was going to start this thread two weeks ago, but I ran into some problems.

In my spare time I work as a gardener, and I brought some nasty little blighters into my room and it really dealt me a blow. Had to kill off fungus gnats and blood fly larvae that were killing all of my plants. Now that the scourge is over it's time for me to get back to work. I usually add a top dress of prepped flower super soil, but I had to just put sand instead to kill those fucking pieces of shit. Sorry about not being peacey, but only an asshole would kill my plants:evil:. She got burned really bad by those pricks, but now they are just added nutrient, bahahahaha... oh I made myself sad.

Specifics:
Strain: Balance Seeds Pre-Master Kush
Potting prep: Coco organic super soil with high bacterial fun times in a 3 gallon air pot
Veg time: Over a month, I would say about 5 weeks
Planned Light Schedule: Veg: 24hr Flowering: 13-11(2 weeks) 11-13 (6 weeks)

She's was heavy in pre-flower before being put in. I carbo-loaded her rootbound roots to encourage forced flowering. Should be a beautiful show. I'm planning on loading some pictures after work.

I hate fungus gnats. They always seems to make it inside. Its almost always from clones or reveg moms from my experience. I try to dry my girls out as best as i can. Sand is best though probably. I try to kill as many as i can when i water them. I will water them pretty good after being dry and watch the little buggers crawl out the bottom and kill them. Yellow sticky tap works good as an indicator

I hate them so much! But I have to agree with Subcool on this one. It was fox farms happy frog soil conditioner. I don't know what it is, but all of the Fox Farms soil products that I buy give me the gnats. Since then I have began running all sterile mediums that I personally innoculate with the bacteria that I want. Watching those little bastards wiggle into the drain holes at the bottom always sent shivers down my spine. At least I know I wont ever let it happen again. Thanks for stopping by the thread corners! Right now I'm setting up a CO2 system for the master kush, and every week I'm going to be introducing custom strains that my friend and I have been developing. We have 651 Trainwreck, Guanesh which is a white rhino pheno that smells like tropical orange julius/guava, 763 Diesel, and Minnesota Cheese. I'm looking forward to getting a decent camera going. Also I'm going to uploading pics from my old CFL grow. Seize the day!
Sincerely,
ILove

you will always get gnats with soil indoors almost everywhere the eggs are already in the soil 95% of the time picked up in holding warehouses

before you plant anything preflush with neem oil allow to dry an your good to go another soil drench just before you flip 12/12 and even a misting if your feeling over cautious an you wont see another gnat thripe aphid the whole grow will greatly reduce your chances of spidermites showing up als

ILove here, just stopping by to let all know that I'm out of the state. I really needed money and I've found some work with family so I can slowly sink while the dream boat stays afloat. Dark will be taking care of the plants, and he's started a thread on his own with the MN Blue Cheese. Check it out, it may be small but it will soon stand tall! I'm probably going to have him post some pictures with my account while I'm out, but I really have no idea how my babies are doing, and the last time I was out of state for an extended period of time 2/3 of my plants were killed off by my poor decision to trust my old friend at the time to take care of them.
It makes me a little nervous, but in the end if I'm unable to complete this quest I know that I have the skill set to survive. Anyhow thanks so much for all of the visits and support! I personally love my LED lighting, and the prospect of constant improvement. If you are looking into this style of lighting I suggest that you start small with a known good product, and work on improving its efficiency until you know what plants crave. As soon as I return I plan on introducing constant custom tonal music arrangement to increase yields, as I have done in the past. For now though I'm sure that the added CO2 from the yeast colony, and additional lighting will give my girl a strong start no matter what the finish.
This is the story of my former failure in the small case that history, in it's short circadian rhythm, manages to repeat itself.
Once there was a young man, head held high from the knowledge that he had gained in a short year, he and his brother were planning on making some money. Enough for himself to get out of the state and start anew where my personal practices would be more appreciated. That dream collapsed, my brother lost faith in the plan and simultaneously managed to make sure that my former land lord, a family member, would no longer trust him. It was not his time to take on this undertaking. So another year of school would have to pass, and I would again have to recollect my efforts and find allies in this culture full of deception. One year wasted. "Imagine you are an idiot, and a member of congress, but I repeat myself."-Mark Twain

I was working an unfulfilling job in an area of our amazing nation where I would be imprisoned indefinitely for my personal non-invasive habits. I am not a pusher, I have never pushed, and yet destiny itself pushed me to become who I am today.

My friend from High School (I should have known from that very statement) and I decided to chase the dream. My experience ended up like this, it will be condensed into plus and minus so that my frustration doesn't fully come out: grow-friend tries to help-friend possibly mentally retarded (did way more drugs than I initially anticipated, and he was a slow kid)-friend kills off most clones-friend removed from room+whole room begins to flourish+money starts coming in-friend stops paying rent+Dark becomes my friend and it all starts to get better-friend's girlfriend least human crazy bitch I have ever encountered- I lose 45 pounds from stress/body starts rejecting food(I weighed 185 at 6% body fat before it all went down)- I become the fucking weed Mechanist (don't care about looks but if you know the premise of the movie you would understand)-health begins failing-pawn all of my beloved possessions to make rent+I learn to think outside the box so well that the plants look as though they are going to take care of the situation+ family sees me and decided to bring me to hospital/nurse me back to health-while I'm gone friend can't even water the fucking plants-friend allows spider mite infestation to occur+ I return and kill off infestation+ I set up room to make even more money with same lighting+ I work three jobs (including all the work done inside and out) to buy better lighting, pay rent, and pay room mates rent+ Dark starts to invest more money into it all and it all looks even better-room mate steals lights+ room mate and bitchosaurus Rex move out (I'm not usually at all sexist but she was the embodiment of everything wrong with the female gender and the least human I have met)+ I vape/eat most of weed before they move out+ I begin to gain weight again-I could no longer sustain that lifestyle ( I was stolen from and Dark lost another 500 dollars)+friends take care of my selected plant species and it looks as though her genetics would be able to continue-home of Audrey 2 (not my place anymore as I moved away to Minneapolis) raided and her unique genetics lost forever= Last year

So, as you can see, it has been a crazy life. I will be writing the full story eventually, but for now I wanted to let anyone who cares know that there is always support out there, and no matter how dark it looks you can come back. PM me if you are having trouble and don't know what to do, I don't have money but at this point I have decent experience You can be completely uprooted and deprived of the light for a 10th of your known life, and still bounce back. You can have your life force washed away and still end up stronger, better, and more humble than ever. It happened to me. And in order to make this new life possible I had to put the same stress on my plants when I transported them (6 full grown plants at the time) across multiple state borders, to do a hobby that gives my meaningless and insignificant life a sense of purpose, in a state that views and accepts its medicinal value. Again I speak of myself and the illegal beings that I live vicariously through known to the average botanical scientist as cannabis. Just know that if you dream it, you can make it real, that's what being a scientist is all about. In the end we are all just little scientists.
Know that Sincerely,
ILovePlants

So it's been a while, and this thread is going to be dead for another month as I move another master kush in. Well when I got back the plants where in a bad way. It was my decision to take them down. I'm transferring a liter size plant into a 3 gallon and I'm going to be moving it in within the next 30 days. I could show the vegging progress so that you can get an idea of scale and natural increasing progression. If the plant is vigorous enough it will be in a 5 gallon by first flowering day. Depending mostly on whether or not it fills out a 3 gallon in 20 days. That would be something to see. Anyway I figured that I'm going to get flowering plants on this thread no matter what.
Sincerely,
ILove
