Root Rot, Over Watered or ?? Help!!

I have not watered it for a week, and my moisture meter has not changed much (because it's a scrog, I cannot lift the pot up to "feel" the weight)

Soil is fox farms frog
temps are 65F - 82F
RH 30% avg

last watering used a tiny bit of alaskan fish 5-1-1
 
Definitely looks over watered, but it might not be. What's with the swollen purple stems?
 
I haven't watered in a week though and the soil seems to not be drying up

only parts of some of the stems are that way, I was told it's the strain (which I have never heard of "porky pine" )

Well if you watered a week ago and it doesn't seem to be drying up you do have a problem.

Increase air movement across soil, and/or lower humidity, and/or raise temps.

You do have holes in the pots right? After watering the surface should be fairly dry after a couple days, and you should need to re-water by one week, I prefer about 4 days.

You did not say anything about your soil, but it looks like it is not well drained, nor the size or type of your pot. There ar a lot of variables but still wet after one week is NOT good.
 
raise the temps,65 on lights out,Im guessing,try to get it up to 70 minimum,then she'll use the water up faster
 
I like AimAim's advice about fans, temps, and less watering. I'd also give them a little dark so they can rest. This triggers the plants to push out a lot of toxins (for lack of a better word) into the soil. When the lights come back on it will trigger them to drink again and take in nutrients. This might help flush out whatever is going on. Good luck.

Well if you think about it all you are doing is rinsing with nuted water, might be washing some out but you are adding right back as well.

Here's the deal as I see it: If you gotta wash salts out of the soil you are applying too many salts to begin with. And nutes = salts for those wondering.

I grow in soil, I water by setting the pot in a pan of water and adding a portion from above. Pretty much never ever saturate the soil to where it runs off.

Anyway don't give them more than they can consume and you won't get salt buildups. One caveat.. I guess this could be a problem if you are watering with extremely mineral-laden water but I think this would be uncommon.
 
I had a similar problem recently. My temps were getting too low in my veg room and the medium would not dry out. Raise the temps to 75ish for at least part of the day and it will slowly get better. I agree with Aimaim, I rarely water to runoff. I use a modified supersoil so salt buildup is not an issue.

IF you have fungus gnats, you will be at risk for them to spread some nasty pathogens/fungus to the roots. I lost a few clones when I had the issue.

I raised the temps up by turning on extra cfl lights, and put a fan blowing directly down at the soil. The moisture meter is already showing a little bit of a improvement.

I wish I could just re-pot them in a better soil mixture with some perlite etc, other than just plain happy frog (lesson learned) but since it's in a scrog, too late.
 
Ill also go out on a limb. Ill say the water u have been watering with is too cold. Now your roots r too cold to do anything. Your lights r on 24 hours a day and u have have temp swings of 65-82, that's not a great atmosphere. How cold is it out side? How cold is your water you've been watering with? How can u get the temps to a constant temp? The purple stems r telling me colds roots. And yes obviously over saturated pots. I could be wrong here remember that. Just trying to help u figure something out.
