root rot attempting to resurrect

Has anyone successfully recovered from root rot she is 3 weeks old she started drooping then got crispy and started falling apart I thought it was nutes at first so a adjusted that then I just pulled it noticed the rooTs stopped growing and where darker in color then they should be so I cleaned the roots off put some rooting hormones on them put her in some rockwool and buried the rockwool and her into coCo coir she is pretty much dead but she does have some life in her so I figure maybe I maybe able to resurrect her by treating her as a newly sprouted sapling again and hope the terminal produces New fan leafs and starts over has anyone tryed this

U guys love that btw she is actually coming back I saw the start of colas off the terminal that got topped well I cut her down to a smaller size so the damaged roots wouldnt need to draw up a lot to support the plant as well as repair she has lil green hair like stems forming on the terminal I counted four so it actually got FIMed I guess

Yep that's pretty much what minE did but then it went crispy.. I 're ordered some seeds so I'm going to let her recover and start on my next generation and I might let that one stay in veg during the entire life cycle of the seeds that I ordered today and depending on how she looks she will either go to flower at that point or I might just top the hell out of her and use her as a mother. My original plan was not to have a mother but to just clone from clones but if I feel the yield won't be worth the spot in my flowering room I might just keep her as a mother

Grow in soil.....I got Root rot last year in DWC and lost about 12 plants I had to start completely over. I chose soil, and not looking back
