Root Problem

Ok So Its my first Hydro Grow and its not going so well im having trouble getting the roots to grow...its already been two weeks and i dont kknow whats going on... its growing in an 18 gallon rubbermaid with 2 CFL's 23w and one incandecent 150 watt...any help????:o :cry:
 
I would like to help u, could you please send more info. Are there 0 roots, are they clones, seeds, what kind of plant?
 
i dont know tht much but i just got this ROOTS EXCELURATOR an it works really fn well. buts thats soil... you can use it in hydro tho check it out
 
I Put an old heating blanket under my five gallon home made cloning dwc res it heats the water up a bit and I get great results,, i think the heat helps pull the roots down... It does take about 5-7 days

Its a Northern Lights Clone...when i bought the there were only the roots from the startup of the cutting but since ive had it the rooting hasn't advanced at all...and there is verry little leaf growth... hope thats more info..let me know if you need more...
