First buy a ph paper strip tester. Your nute water must always remain at a ph of 7. If you have a local grow or garden store by you they are your best friends, preferably a hydroponic store. If you only have a local gardening store look for fox farm blooms. The bottle tells how to measure. Also buy a mL dropper to make Xact measurements.

Good Luck

ok how much do they cost also I use clean rain water for the plant to is that fine. So you are saying dont use the organic bone meal anymore? I only use about a tablespoon full a week ago.

Rain water should have a P.h.of 7 But you should really test it, You don't want to get nute lockout, I learned it the hard way my P.H. was way off and I had all kind's of problem's

Honestly im not very aware of any type of use for the bone meal as i havent used it...as long as your not experiencing any negative effects like burn, drooping, yellowing etc. then i would say your doing just fine.

On the other hand lets start with the vegetative period of growth: this is when your plants are striving for nitrogen.

Fertilizer Ratio: N-P-K, Nitrogen-Phosphorus-Potassium. Vegetation needs higher N (ie. 4-1-2) Flowering need higher P-K (ie. 1-5-7) you really want K to be higher. =)

On the contrary, you are a beginner. So the best thing right now is to use a one part veg nutrient (which means a single bottle nutrient).
I would recommend dynagro as a #1 beginner nutrient as its a one part veg and one part bloom. very easy and there are a lot of alternatives which you can just ask a worker at your local hydro store about.

Good Luck My underdog.
