Former Black Sabbath vocalist Ronnie James Dio died on May 16, five months after he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. He was 67.

Dio was Ozzy Osbourne's replacement in Black Sabbath when the former left in 1979.

So Dio went to Hell, right?
"Born Ronald James Padavon in 1942 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire (where, in 1988, his street was renamed “Dio Way“), he grew up an only child in a very Roman Catholic environment, feeling very out of place. Later in life, he would channel these feelings when writing many songs dealing with medieval conflict, demons, hell and the perceptions of good versus evil".

I am no judge but I do believe in God, and Jesus the son of God.

I never cared for Dio when he took over for Black Sabbath. But when he was on his own I was all about it the first 3 albums.
