Ron Paul endorces Chuck Baldwin

Thankfully he's not supporting that neo-fascist Bob Barr. I've checked out Baldwin MILF, and I just can't resolve what appears to be a dichotomy to me regarding their 1st and 2nd tenets in their charter:

1. Life: For all human beings, from conception to natural death;
2. Liberty: Freedom of conscience and actions for the self-governed individual;

Number one strikes me as a pro-life stance (I'm pro-choice), but does that mean that tenet number two supercedes number one?

And tenet number three bothers me as well...
3. Family: One husband and one wife with their children as divinely instituted;

Although I believe that it's important for a child to have a role model from one's father and mother, I think that a family can consist of two parents of the same sex.

I am devoutly committed to all the other tenets as defined in the party's charter.

As for Baldwin, the fact that he's a minister troubles me as well.

Ron Paul has stated over and over that writing in his name with be a vote not counted.. I hear ya Dave, I don't agree with Baldwin 100%- he's certainly no Ron Paul, but out of all the candidates Baldwin is def. the best- Ron Paul agrees, good enough for me.

Um.. some of you people are just really judgmental and ignorant.. Ron Paul himself is a religious man- what does that have anything to do with anything? None of his policies push religion in any way shape or form..

I just told you to quit being a hypocrite and vote your conscience, isn't that saying something? It is always you that are professing this high road bullshit, but now you are going to vote for the devil, hypocracy at it's finest. I think it is you that has a reading comprehension problem. BTW if you mean I'm not cut and pasting like you, you have a point. I'm more into confrontational arguementation. I also see you chomping at the bit to attack me. Thing is, I get them all the time, Sea-B and her illustrious Bully boy are always prodding me. Water off a ducks back, you see. I'd be real dissapointed if you up and died. I'd actually miss our banter. Maybe someday you'll come around, hope springs eternal.

:lol: ... Well, I have to admit, Med ... If you "up and died" I'd miss you too. I mean, this place wouldn't be the same without you. :)

PS: Now fuck off. :bigjoint:

Well thank you. It's sort of like being infamous. Everyone has an opinion about me, some good, some not so good and some that want a bounty placed on me. That's the beauty of the internet, one can express their opinions unabashed, and let er roll. I can say fuck you and visa-versa without feeling that fist come along side your head. This is free speech if ever there were. The 1st amendment at it's finest.

^^^ I agree with you. Yikes, did I really say that? :lol:

Totalitarian government officials, like the Democrats in the Congress and Senate, hate the freedom of the Internet. Its a big threat to them. Hey, can't have the little citizens and workers freely discussing "our" business, now can we?

Vi.. I'm sorry you feel that something as important as our vote, our Presidential election is merely another sport- a horse race, something to bet on 'who will win'.. why? So you can brag you voted for the person who won?

God, I hate the thinking in this country..

“Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.” ~John Quincy Adams
