Rockwool to Soil ?

So, a friend has some nice clones that he's willing to part with. The problem, if there is one, is that they are started in rock wool and I'm growing in Fox Farms soil.

Has anyone had any experience with transplanting a rockwool clone to soil? It seems like it would work but I may be overlooking something.

Opinions are appreciated.

Just put it in the soil add some water and sunshine then you get an instant pound.

I always start in RW cubes then go to soil as they out grow the cube
