Rockwool Problems - First Hydro Grow - PLZ HELP

This is my first hydro grow and I am having problems with some clones. My buddy has an extra MH light so i left them at his house for a few weeks without checking on them. I went back the other day and noticed all the cubes have turned an Orange color? any ideas whY? should i be worried?

you totally want to cover up the top of the rockwool, it kinda looks like a fungi infestation. with them covered you should be ok

Will it get worse? or just stay as is when its covered? Is there anything i can do to get it back to normal?

it shouldn't get any worst, and with it covered should get better
