Is cotton a good substitute for rockwool, kinda on a budget, i mean can i insert germed seeds into it for my first bubbleponic grow, yeah i know noobie question. OOOh tHey WaY i FEel now, If OnLy all were green

yeah but im using bubbleponics, there would be a constant supply of water and oxygen to it. my thing would be maybe too much water if anything

A piece of an ordinary car washing sponge would be better than cotton. Rapid rooters are the best. And yes, too much water is a concern and that's another problem with water pumps and feeder tubes.

cotton is organic. i imagine it would mold and break down before too long.
