Rockwool + Foxfarms Ocean forrest question....

Alright so I am a noob and about to start my first grow. It's definitly exciting, but I would rather not screw it up so this is my question. I am going to start my germinated seeds in rockwool because I have heard that FoxFarms Ocean Forrest soil has a few too many nutrients in it for the little seedlings. Is this true, or will they be able to make it with out getting nute lock? Otherwise do you recommend I start in the rockwool and then proceed to transplant them into the FoxFarm soil after a few days? Also to make this even more complicated I have a bag of perilite which I could use to water down the nutrients in the FoxFarm soil, I read somewhere but now can't find it that a mix of 70% soil + 30% perilite is good for young seedlings. Should I be bothering with mixing? Alright and now my last question is: Do I need to soak my rockwool? some people say you need to soak it for over a day to get the glue out? Would it be sufficient enough to soak it in some tap water for about 6 hours? My seeds are almost fully germinated and I would love to plant them tonight!!!!

I use FFOF to plant my seeds and throughout, I have seen a couple of seedlings with a little nute burn but so far I have not had a big problem. But this is only my 2nd grow.

I cut my FFOF soil with 30% light warrior. It's very light, but I know tons of people who cut their soil with 10-30 percent.

I think im going to use that same tip. When should we add nutes?

Dont add nutrients until the plant grows its first five leaf. Then 1/2 strength.

Dont germ in rockwool cubes. That ocean forest will not burn your seedlings or cuttings.

If your seeds have cracked, put your soil in a small pot or styrofoam cup and water it. Then cover the seed with about 1/8inch of soil. Cover the cup with a sandwich bag or piece of plastic wrap. This will keep the humidity up and you will not have to water until after the seeds sprouts.

There is no need to add perlite to the ocean forest mix. It will work just fine the way it is.

The question said he wanted to put the seeds in soil. That is why I said don't use the rockwool and just use the soil.

If he wanted to go hydro, then he could germ the seeds in rockwool cubes, or rapid rooters or what ever. But there is no need to use rockwool cubes if you are placing the seedlings into soil.
