How much harvest do you get from a plant in a 6×6 rockwool cube?

I have a Bit of a problems. I run a ebb/Flow system wit Hydrogen correls. But the roots just build a mat on the botom. 3 inch correls But Max. 1 inch roots on the grund.

Thinking about to Change medium.

It depends on strain, quantity, lighting, ventilation, size of the room, duration of veg cycle. A lot of factors. I've pulled off almost 2 pounds in rockwool with 1000w hps, 4 trainwrecks and 4 skunk#1, with 3 weeks veg. My grow right now is in a 5x5 tent with a 630w CMH and 16 Animal cookies in 6x6 rockwool cubes, with drip lines. I can send you the link for my grow journal if you want more detail of my setup. Happy growing :bigjoint:

Thanks for the answer

I know all These Faktors, I just never grow in rockwool, I startet with soil, then a long Time coco, and the last thing was hydroton correls.
Works all very well, I just dont like the amount of garbage/old soil/coco and the Bugs like it to much.

In my tray, with 16 Plants (ebb/flood) it sometime happends that a few stronger Plants Take much more rooting space, so other get much less and stay smaller/skinnier .so i will give every plant its own rooting Space,
With which pot size one can compare that
Im just currios

Use batting under your cubes and expand the roots they can hold My Rockwool cubes are sitting on a 2" thick root carpet.

Poly-Wadding-available-at-William-Gee.jpg

The polyester shit they use to make quilts and stuff into upholstery etc...

Thats a Fat root carpet

So you Start putting thes polyester in your tray and put the rockwoll cubes on top . And the roots grow throu the polyester

One side of the tray has a hole, water falls back into the res there. On the other side of the table is a T-line that feeds water on a timer.
I tried to eliminate as many parts that can go wrong as possible.

Do you have plastic over the batting?
I grow in 6" cubes, and what you're doing with the batting has really caught my attention. Do you have any more pics?
