I always soak my roackwool for at least a hal hour in mix of ph'd water and grozyme, then drain out all access water from the cubes. Keep the rockwool moist but not too wet. Get it under a light and Iuse a dome over it.:peace:

did the same thing 2 weeks ago my friend. i'm sure you put the tap root facing down right ???thats what i did and tucked it in kinda snug without damaging and made sure i could still see the cracked seedling....not the root, just top of seed so it doesn't have to work to hard to get out. keep your rockwool moist and it took 2-3 days before mine popped up but once they do ....BOOM. like i said 2 weeks ago and they;re now 8" tall with 5 nodes.

How large are your rockwools and have you soaked the wool in ph balanced water of 5.5 for a long period of time? The larger the rockwool, the longer you soak them. I have the largest rockwool which i believe is 5x5, i soaked them in a ph balanced water if 5.5 for 24 hours, the reason why i soak them so long is that rockwool have a tendency of having some major ph fluctuation, sooooo them for min 6 hours to 24 or longer just to be on the safe side and for seedlings you shouldn't stick them in rockwool if they just popped, put them in a smaller medium such as rockwool PLUGS (which is a small cylinder shaped rockwool) or my favorite jiffy peat pellets. Once you see 4 of the spikey leaved then u can transfer them to a larger medium by sticking the peat pellets or the rockwool plugs into your larger rockwool cubes. I believe the hardest part in the process of growing the Jane is the seedling stage, they have a good possibility of just dying in your hands with you knowing it, just like a human baby. Take care of it.
