How did it turn out? Have any harvest pics? :)
It's doing great so far. I didn't harvested yet, I still got 2 weeks left (estimate).

But I'll definitely have lots of pics to come. Alot of the leaves are turning a dark purple almost black color (aka blackberry). They are starting to put on some weight finally, but smell fantastic and are completely covered in trics everywhere, even the stems!

My initial estimate of 16oz's may be a bit much. The buds are alot smaller than the SSH buds, but then again I got a few weeks to go so who knows. Fingers crossed

Well DWC I thought ran the pumps 24/7? Otherwise the roots would suffocate in the water right?

For my Aeroponic setup I have my sprayers set to 1 minute on 5 minutes off. Having a pump on 24/7 is going to raise reservoir temps to undesirable levels, and I don't use a water chiller so I like the 1/5 timer. Keeps the water cool and doesn't over-water the roots. Although I have heard of people using 24/7 pumps with no issues.

I like to be safe than sorry. I think the combination of using a 1/5 timer, adding Hygrozyme to my soup, and separating the res from any light/heat is a cheaper solution to running a water chiller all the time.

But if your over say 80-85 degree's on the res temps, you may have to get a chiller regardless.

Welcome Butters, I'll try and get some pics up tonight. I gotta do another res change today.

As for the clones I have 6 clones in the aeroponic cloner/vegger and 3 sitting in rockwool. 2 of the 6 in the aero have roots, other 4 don't yet. And all three in rockwool don't have roots. Been almost 2 weeks, they are taking awhile to revert back to veg. I think next go around I'll cut the clones at the end of week 2 in flower. Any longer and they take too long to root. Learning as I go :peace:

[Update - Day 44 Flower]
At first I thought the yellowing was a deficiency, but now I'm thinking it's more in the genetics of this BBK. The leaves seem to turn yellow, then a dark purple/blackberry color, pretty bad ass.

Buds are putting on more weight, might be awhile to go still. Looking at the tric's they are almost all clear still, no amber in sight. 8 weeks my ass! I'm thinking more like 9-10.

But more time = bigger buds, so I can wait . The plants on the far right seem to be getting much less light and are less developed. I will probably upgrade to a 1,000w light/cool tube/batwing reflector after this grow to give all the plants massive light and even massiver buds (haha massiver).

Comments/Concerns welcome...

Man, I remember going blackberry picking when I was young. It looked just like those babies, hahaha!

Remember, massiver light=massiver buds :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Haha, was thinkin the same thing. I dunno if I wanna run Berry flavored Sweet or Grape flavored Sweet during the flush, or a combination? They gotta taste as good as they look/smell bongsmilie

How do you use the Sweet during flush?
I basically do what Stinkbud has been doing recently which is a quick drought method. Pretty cool in aeroponics!

Flushing Aeroponic Stinkbud Method. 3.5 Days Total Time. (I may add a couple more days to get more flavor)

1. Drain the res of all water/nutes.
2. Fill with tap water, run the pump constantly for 1 hour to get rid of nutes, then drain again.
3. Refill with RO water & 150ml of Clearex, run pump back on 1/5 interval for 24 hours (5.8 ph).
4. Drain Res once again. Now fill the res with 450ml of Sweet and RO water (5.8 ph).
5. Now leave your pump off for 12 hours (during the "daylight" period). Your plants should be wilting enough by the end of that.
6. Rescue, Turn the pump back on 1/5 interval for 24-48 hrs (I'll prolly go 72 hrs this time). Plants should turn light green/yellow and soak up a lot of Sweet.
7. Harvest time, chop em and hang em to dry.

I tried this with my last Super Silver Haze harvest and when you hit it through the vaporizer, man it tasted Good! I used the generic sweet flavor, this time I'll prolly go with Berry flavor. I'll prolly flush for a couple extra days too, just to milk that sweet/carbs as much as possible.

Thanks, it's finally starting to look tasty.

Oh, I have a 18 gallon res that I fill to about 10-12 gallons (The ruffneck rubbermade containers bulge alot, can't fill em all the way). So like 45-38ml per Gal I suppose.
Thanks Robotninja, I'm debating on doing this. I run an ebb & flow system. I think it would be the same principal.

[Update Day 57 of 12/12]
Ok, came down with some nasty flu virus and have been pretty much miserable for the last week. Didn't really check on the plants much, didn't wanna pass any germs to the buds.

Friend took her 600$ camera back so I'm stuck with the crappy digi cam again, so sorry for the blurry shots but this camera sux!

Plants are doing fine, they smell fantastic. I get hints of a very sweet berry type aroma. The trics are still Clear/Cloudy, almost no amber in sight. I have a feeling when the dispensary told me 8 weeks flowering, they meant 8 weeks from when you start to see flowers. Not 8 weeks of 12/12.

In that case I didn't see flowers till about week 2.5 of 12/12, so could be another 2-2.5 weeks to go. I don't start flushing till I see 50% Cloudy 50% Amber, so as long as it takes.

I'll borrow the badass camera again once I harvest to get some nice up close bud shots.
