With Godzilla such a fuckup, I was in need of yet another movie "fix". so I got the call and did another batman impersonation on the roofs of sunset blvd. and arrived panting and shaking in need of a 90 min. fix
Understand by Cali. standards this is an old flick its been out since early February 2014 and the story is older than Jurassic Park. followed by RoboCop2, which was junk then the worst RoboCop3 ...Ugh!

So when a completely "new" and revamped appeared many fans were extremely suspicious I'd seen this back in Feb, but as I was only one of 2-3 fans that wore our Robcop masks, I was getting the jitters, but that proved false, and the movie was a blast, and not cause of the cheesy script, but what actually held this together was the actors, some top notch stuff too.

The movie cost just over 100 million, and a new Joel Kinnaman, played the Robo Cop, that alone was a recipe for a flop, but again this movie was saved by the supporting actors, who clearly loved playing their roles, I suspect some for free too, (local gossip) the CGI was average except for some close up moments, that I suspect will be given away in the trailers.

The content and the way the story rolls, freaked me out, as at the moment the Republican party is down and out just what they need is a good strong propaganda movie like this, see it but don't let it screw with your politics.
The movie has some great one liners and great laughs not to spoil it, but Vallon did tell his boys to use 50 caliber bullets and flak jackets, but they did neither opting for 9mm H&K grease guns ..a big mistake ...lol lol

SCORE: 7/10
