You don't have to directly say, "people should go to jail". You said something should be illegal, which by a very short extrapolation means, people will go to jail. Very likely too, that minorities and poor people in a disproportionate number would be jailed....racist.

Making anything that people want, illegal to sell, will not stop the act of transacting in it. That has already been proven under the present prohibition and when alcohol was prohibited as well.

In your scenario, people would still go to jail and for arguments sake even if they didn't, who the fuck are you or anyone else to tell people what they can or cannot peaceably transact in? Your plan defaults to the idea that an external authoritarian douche with a gun should run other people's lives. That is undeniably baked into your stupid plan.
