RIU Members! Could this work?

I was on eBay and I came across this http://m.ebay.com/itm/131167828383?nav=SEARCH . I was thinking of making my own led grow light. Could I use these and instal a heat sink? I found a video on YouTube too. There is also a red version. I don't see why it wouldn't work though because the spectrum is right on in terms of wavelength. Each unit puts of 4000 lumens. My idea is for a stealth grow box having 2 red ones and one blue for 300w or 12,000 lumens. Am I misguide or is this possible?

I've wondered if you could use the LED strip lights, cheap and no heat. I got a quarter off an auto under a T5 and they don't seem as bright as LEDs
