RIU Censorship

I have been a member of RIU for 4.5 years, since November 2008. During my time here I have learned a lot and I believe I have taught a lot. I am a marijuana grower, poppy grower, and a chemist(mainly opioid chemistry). I have wrote extensively on all 3 topics but a lot of attention has been paid towards poppies and other opiates because I have received many questions on the subject. And during this time I have received alot of positive feedback with people asking questions and such. I have also received some negative criticism. I have always been the type to accept peoples opinion. I have never wrote anything encouraging people to do what I do. What I mean by that is that I have never typed something out and said to people that they needed to try this or anything like that. I have typed out instructions on how to do certain things but that's it. I let people make up their own mind's and I always assumed that this whole website encompassed that whole attitude, to let people make up their own minds...personal freedom. But the other day I have come to realize that I was wrong. Last week I started a thread in the Hallucinatory Substances section titled "Homebake Heroin Synthesis". The thread was going to be a how-to guide on how to synthesize heroin out of codeine. While I understand that heroin is not a hullcinatory substance I posted in that section because alot of the threads in there are about other drugs besides hallucinatory substances such as cocaine, meth, kratom, khat, opiates, etc. So I created the thread and people began posting, most of it positive, and I started receiving questions and messages. But there were a couple of people who had a problem with this thread, saying I was going to kill a bunch of people, and one even requested to have the thread removed. Well yesterday when I logged onto RIU I found out that it was removed. So in the past 4.5 years I have never had this issue. I have wrote on many different topics relating to poppies, heroin, and opiates in general. I was shocked to discover that the thread was removed because I always thought that RIU was about personal freedom and people could make up their own minds. Most people who would have read the homebake heroin synthesis would of done only that...just read it. I'm sure some people would of also tried it and out of those people some would have gotten it right and made heroin which they would've used. But once again isn't that their right? We are all adults here(or are suppose to be at least) and as a adult can't people make up their own minds on what to read/write, what to do, and what to ingest? Yesterday I found out RIU's answer to those 3 questions and their answer to all 3 is NO. NO we are not free to read/write what we want, NO we are not free to do what we want, and NO we are not free to ingest what we like. Censorship is alive and well at RIU.

It's just the nature of the beast. You are always gonna have douche bags who ruin it for everyone. Not much you can do really. A lot of people on this site suck. I know some who don't.

Opiates used outside of medical context (and sometimes in it) are addictive and harmfull. I hate the shit and am actualy forced to be on DF118 until next week, when I'm scheduled for a few back procedures.
People try to get all kinds of shit into the halucinatory drugs section, that don't belong there.

I 'd sure be interested in learning the "homebake" After years n years of my scripts,maybe this is a nice alternative.Meaning,I could medicate my self in the same fashion as the mmj people.Most of the haters are prolly just ignorant.Just like the anti mmj people.

i dont really agree with removing a thread about drugs, in the drugs section. altho, it was in the "wrong" section. that gets threads removed. its happened to me before. but i dont think thats the problem.

all the violin playin' snivelling crybabys made a stink and got it removed.

side note tho, keep heroin synthesis on the.dl. it is highly illegal, and theres no need for people not in the medical field to be doing this. it is dangerous to make info like this available. theres to many fucking buttnuts who will start fucking around with tht.

I do see removing the post as fair if it was done for safty. kids can redily acsess anything on this site.

but if it was done as a act of sensorship, boo the person who removed it. thats weak as fuck.

ask a mod why it wsas removed. at least you will know why, and you wont make tge mistake again

You make a good point, but this IS called "Rollitup, the Marijuana Source". There are indeed other places that people can go to for the other mind and body altering substances. I personally don't go to a baseball field to watch golf.

have you seen all the subforums here ? Lots more then just pot talk on RIU.If pot was the only thing that can be discussed maybe you guys should report every non pot related thread to Admin

IDK for sure.I'm just butt hurt after hearing the shit talk about opiate users.There are many of us users out there that would like to get out from under our doctors.In the same way as the mmj patient.They are incouraged to grow there own.Why is it not the same for us that have been put on opiates and want to live a better life.We shouldn't be able to make our own meds? Its no different then you guys making your extracts in my eyes

If you are upset about something contact PR , send him a message obviously he is going to be able to fully explain why it was removed,

Damn slowbus I didn't think about it that way. You should be able to grow your own meds. I've been taking opiates from my doc for 2 years and if I could grow poppy's I would at least use the raw sap.

addicts thanks to "doctors". they have to go to the pain clinic every month to get a those fucking pills

and the dr runs them thru like an assembly line. he pushes procedure after procedure on them.

procedures that do nothing but more harm. mrs sunnyboy's "dr" nicks her spinal column with every

epidural. i swear to god i better never catch that man on my side of town.


sunny's brother is going thru withdrawls for his "dr" who never thought he would live this long and has

had no problem handing out that shit. at 44 my brother is going thru what no one should have to go

thru. i can't imagine eating those wafers, etc for 12 years.

There are points to be argued for both sides, but in the end I see the OP losing this debate simply for the amount of variables included. The OP states the he is a learned person who has specific training with the procedures involved in this process. But the fact can not be true of everyone and there lies the culpability in this manner. Although most here are adult and have some logic and understanding, that does not negate a person of ill will coming in and using such information for pure profit and not for the intended purpose in which it was intended. You don't have to login here in order for you to view most if not all text written here and only those certain pics allowed by the poster so there is some issue on whether a person maybe able to produce this from pics alone, but that is a minor issue.

To say everyone is going to use this information as you wish they would, is false, as we all know the world just doesn't work that way and I can understand the owners position in this manner.

I understand your side also {OP} but strictly on a legal basis the odds would be too stacked against them if someone were to be harmed in any manner by the information you provided.
