hey all, whats the risk of my plants buds getting so heavy they snap the stems there growing on?
risk of heavy buds breaking branches?..

get some tomato stakes ive had that happen to me once ,because i let a plant stretch to get up to the height of the rest of the plants,dont do that anymore it was an experiment...

well the thing is its a 3 hour drive each way for me to check my plants there outdoors and there all indica bushes and one tall almost 7 foot sativa, im mainly concerned about the one indica bush, it has like 18 tops and it split in the main stem and i thought it was a goner so i feed it one last time and when i came back next time all the tops were sticking up and budding

Depends on the strain.. I recently lost/ gave up on 10 plants.. yes 10x plants. all the same strain due to them snapping branch by branch day by day week by week in bloom.. They were in grow bags which made it more difficult to support them

I watched it hour by hour 
.. . Only so much you can support with when in bags & having to move the plants from room to room every 12 hr. I tried Bamboo stakes w/ green ties which I normally use, but the stem would just stap @ the tie.. no matter how far up.. Weak stems.. I got a shitty clone.

hmmmm hopefully since mine are outdoors my stems/branches will be strong from the wind movement, i can only hope any pray, this hobby takes up alot of my thoughts and prayers

yo so being that im in southern ontario and its a 6 hour drive to my grow site what do yall think a good harvest date would be? ps they have heavy harvest fall on them and i used flora nova grow and bloom,.

I am dreading any kind of wind or rain as it seems it just destroys my 2 plants. one is a sativa and one is an indica I think. the sativa is about 7 or 8 ft. high with multiple colas due to an earlier in veg supercropping. the indica was topped also in veg. today there was just a little more than a short breeze and it caused major branch breaking on both plants from the main stalk. I have a question. I took some supports and strings and tried to bound the broken branches back to the main stalk. they were about 80 % broken off, so I am wondering if this move will work to keep them alive and flowering a little longer like a couple weeks maybe.? is it possible for the broken branches to re-attach themselves back to the main trunk? or should I go out there tomorrow with my swedish saw and amputate the affected limbs? it would put a serious dent in my harvest plan. like maybe 30 percent or more. those are prime productive limbs with good bud development. the indica buds are still small, but the sativa is a couple weeks from harvest. is it possible that the plants are lacking water. I have not watered them much at all. how much water would you give a 7 foot wide and tall sativa for a drink. sorry for all the questions but when I saw those broken branches my heart just sank.

ya, for sure tie them up then. Even using either tomato cages, or bamboo stakes and soft string that won't dig into the branches, or the plastic tape (usually green) that they sell for that purpose.
***go around the branches close as you can to the buds so they don't have the weight leverage.

You can tape up the broken ones, and splint them. Make sure to support those branches especially....... Sometimes they will survive, but when mine did it (not from bud weight unfortunately) it did not survive, but it was the main stalk.
If you're not there on a regular basis to water, maybe you could take some 2 liter soda bottles, poke a small hole in the top and turn it upside down into the soil, at least that would give you a little water in between visits.
