Spotted this one in a UK newspaper and it had me thinking "How much further can humanity regress, as this sure as hell ain't advancing"

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...motional-support-hamster-flush-toilet-florida

I mean, first, "an emotional support hamster"? WTF? And second, she FLUSHED it? What sort of heartless bitch does that, especially since the airport, like every other major airport, will have it's own animal control department.

Sorry, but that's someone who needed a damn good slap when she was a kid, and a bigger one now she claims to be an adult.

Feel free to post more examples of such snowflakery and fuckwittery, for I'm sure we'll all find more examples on at least a daily, if not hourly, basis.

Perhaps this would fit in with bizzar news
or maybe under a different thread title?

    Better?

Sorry, I don't go for this touchy-feely nonsense, a spade is not a "manually operated excavation device" and if we call these people what they actually are then maybe the nonsense would stop

It's not "Bizarre News", it's someone showing how far backwards the human race has gone in recent years. And since, as someone who not only has been diagnosed with BPD but who has a partner who is Bipolar, I find such nonsense VERY offensive as it trivialises the issues that people with real psychiatric issues have.

I'd rather focus on more positive things

You might consider that as well

Unlike some, I do have a happy and enjoyable life, and even with our problems we still lead a happier and more normal life that the bimbo who flushes live animals down the dunny. But this sort of drivel truly pisses me off as such shenanigans are now being encouraged, everyone MUST have something wrong with them and that sure as hell does not bode well for the future when people are treating such matters so trivially. She had what seems to be a cyst, she was told it wasn't cancerous, but instead of being happy that there was actually nothing wrong she goes full emotional snowflake and brings all sorts of crap on her head as she expects the world to adjust to her non-existent and imaginary problems.

You think it's acceptable, especially putting any animal through the experience of being flushed down the toilet when it's still alive, then I think I ain't the one with the problem...

No I don't. Where do you get that idea?

By you telling me that it's better to focus on happier things, the impression is that you do find such shenanigans are acceptable as you hardly criticised the bimbo's actions...

I like this thread idea. I've been in sales most of my life, and to gain an easy, almost instant rapport with most people you simply need to let them do two things, Bitch and/or Brag. We've got the brag with the accomplishment thread, so this thread may be a nice counterpart. I really like to bitch, so I'll visit here if the thread takes off. Also, edible Tide Pods. Discuss...

It's all in the marketing. Choosing a thread title that will have mass appeal to a broad membership is key to ginning up participation.

This thread title is barely an improvement over the original.
