Ripping the bong

so today as i was taking my last hit from the bottom of my stash(mostly kief), as i was about to pull it through it sparked and sortof like had a mini explosion. wtf could cause this?

Could be metal flakes form your grinder or built up chemicals in the buds.
If just keif, probably option A)
