RIP RBG

if they install another conservative and overturn Obergefell v. Hodges what becomes of all the marriages that happened in the past five years?
Whooooo hooooo I’m free!!!!!!!!!
Did I say that out loud?
Just kidding obviously.
I’d say there’s no way to reverse this one.
But then again I drank from the blue bottle today so I’m happy with everything currently lol

That's awesome. Did you have any clue it was coming? I thought for sure it was going to happen last year when we were on vacation but nope. I might have to pop the question myself whenever covid dies down.
I had no idea at all! Let’s see we’ve been together 11 years and married for 5 years.
She’s very much the stoic accountant type, you know how that is. We are literally yin yang.
Just one day out of the clear blue BAM!
Do it. Ask away. That’s if you truly want to be married and sounds like you do.

So you didn't waste any time at all once same sex marriage became legal. Was there any discussion or anything before to gage your interest? I'd be terrified to ask if I wasn't 100% sure what the answer would be. I'm about 99% sure now, but there's still some doubt. When we started dating marriage wasn't important to me, but it's become something I think about often since gotten older. I don't want the spectacle of a big gay wedding and would be happy with a small ceremony with our parents and a huge after party.
