Week 5 is done.
Had some issues with this week.
Being a new room and scene. It usually takes one run to work out the kinks. So I got kinks!!
Little Sweet Pink threw out a herm on me and put a few seeds on pretty much everything.
Also some plants fading early, as some seem very hungry.
Gonna have to do a little tea or top dress.
So running into 2 that are very possible as roadkill.
So we shall see.
Not sure if they will make it the full 10 weeks, depends on how they respond to top dressing.

so judging by your lack of saying anything regarding smell.. so far they are a let down.

I think I'll ride this out non the less. I just gotta see how they turn out. You never know, they could amp up the stank.

Idk about rks as it was a legend before I ever grew bagseed, but I've had a few raw pine smelling grows, harvest was exactly like you described. One from Dr. Atomic's Northern lights another from Super Star by Delta 9 labs. Both work with old school cuts, one of NL and another of sensi star.

I have some bag seeds of pine weed. My guess is it’s a clone of northern lights. I got it from the Detroit suburbs. My plan is to cross it with my triad and nl#5 from bodhi, maybe pine tar kush and xmas bud. I should find more pine outta those

But the high quality weed of back in the day blows top shelf stuff of today out of the water. Let me ask when was the last time todays weed started dripping black resin down your chin after 1 hit off a joint.
Just look at the roaches you save up today. How many of them are black and gooey to where you could throw them at the wall and they stick? Yea todays weed on average is better no doubt about that. But top notch today vs 15 years ago plus no comparison.

Honestly that’s how I feel about people saying rks is nostalgia I’m early 30s myself we had the rks up here in the great white north 15 years ago, one of my fellow snow Mexicans must have it

And I do remember those days where if you didn’t have a filter I hope you enjoy brown lips and teeth

Been checking in time to time; I hope you find skunk in there. I just made an order with Master Thai and will get a free pack of festers skunk. Curious to try those.

I know The Nature Farm says he uses Festers Skunk, but now I'll have my own pack to see if Fester is real deal.

Something I was thinking regarding terps: UVB. I have a Dream Catcher (gps) about to be harvested for the second time. The first time I harvested was with a 315 cmh DE. This run I have 640W quantums, 660, 730, 810 diodes, and a solacure uvb.
First harvest of this plant smelled like sweet blueberry muffins with some chemical spray. This harvest is starting to smell more like straight chemical from the Stardawg. It did have a blueberry nose most of its cycle. I'm about 2 weeks from chop now.**

**After writing all this down, I realise it may have just been the increase in light power. Sorry for wasting your time reading lol

Got me sum to :) got a few old seeds from the 90s that stink im going to hit it with and see how they turn out

Very interesting! There are so many factors involved, that different fertilizers, light, atmosphere, temperature, uvb,....
Always good to see different results with same genetics.

I think outdoors may play a roll it the rks smell cause back when everyone was getting it back in the day most of it was outdoor grown and most ppl doing indoor these days then ppl would grown it indoors and it would stink so they wanted new smells to grow indoor, plants r meant for outdoor and thats where they should be imo

Yes, most likely outdoors back in the day! And I would assume in a remote location!?!
Cannabis grows different outdoors. And I am not talking about backyard grows, farms, or greenhouses! Because those methods are regular farming.
I am talking in the bushes!!
Cannabis seems to really like that interaction with other types of plants. Maybe it's being connected, or maybe they share things through root contact that the plant might require in small amounts to become its best expression?
