Ridiculous sativa

So, I have 2 strains going right now, both were from bagseed. One is an 8 week indica and the other is what seems to be a pure sativa. I am on week 18 of flowering and it looks like at least another week. I have not grown to harvest on the sativa yet, but have 3 plants (my room holds 4 in flowering) that are the sativa in my flowering room. 2 of them should finish within a week of each other. My question is, should I keep the sativa going? Do that have mind blowing results usually, where the 20 weeks is worth it? I know such pure sativas are hard to come by so I would feel bad ending its genes, but 20 weeks seems like so much. The worst part is that its not very dense at all and ill be lucky to get 2.5 oz out of it, even though the colas are massive and there are many of them, about 5 the size of my forearm. tl;dr: Are 20 week strains worth it?

Some are...but thats a hella long time to flower. Sativas also have a open and close harvest window sometimes, if your gonna go by the trichs you could be flowering it for a longer time.

Wait, open and close? I am trying to go by trichomes, but they are hard to see because of how crazy it looks flower wise. My biggest fear is that im gonna harvest and its gonna be shit.

That's an awfully long time. You sure no light is getting in your room?

open and close meaning for a few days it will be good to harvest..but if you wait the trichs will continue to be clear/cloudy and just grow again....sativas are tricky to grow sometimes...most people have a whole room dedicated to them due to thier needs....and alota peole will start them off on 12/12 for height reasons. Gotta remeber most of these are from the equator parts of the world.

Might be best off pulling it down..dont be quck to think it might be shitty...it might kick your ass lol

got any pics?

If you already went 18 weeks then what's 2 more weeks? I wouldn't be in a hurry after 18 weeks and possibly ruin what could be some killer bud.

i have a shit ton but i will post them later, I am playing a video game right now. I have pics from like its entire life cycle every 2-3 weeks. I am just lazy and have not posted them all yet. As for light leaks, Yeah, I have a plant that got put in a week and a half after and its going exactly the same and it was popped in directly from clone. It is like a foot and a half even though I cropped the shit out of it. Also, everything about it screams sativa, its very stereotypical, even how the flowers form is a very tropical sense. When I cut little bits off to look at trichomes, it taste fruity. They get insanely big, I am worried about this next one. Because of the insane flowering time, I have a lot of time to veg, more than I need :( Fortunately, I can support about 7feet of plant in my flowering room.

Oh, sorry, What I mean is just not continue producing more clones from the strain. I would hope someone would shoot me if I just tossed it at this point.
