Thanks for the comment @Dmannn I’ll do that and see. You think the yellow edges are definitely a deficiency then?
hard to tell but the picture of the big fan leave looks a little pale. I noticed the very light green from the center of the leaf. I doesn't look deformed like bugs or micro def.

So everything is proceeding as it should. NL is about 5’ tall (almost 7’ in the pot) and very bushy. She is in full bloom and starting to smell a little bit.
GDP is about 5-1/2’ tall and just as wide. She is also in bloom but is about a week to 2 behind the NL.
I am at 13-1/2 hours of daylight

Very little leaf damage from bugs during veg and plants seem pretty healthy.

I have NO experience so I anticipate what’s next with excitement!

I am thoroughly inspecting every day for any worms.

I have one indoor harvest complete ONLY and I harvested about 2oz plant. I’m guessing I’ll do a little better on these!

I’m hoping to harvest the NL by October 1 (wishful thinking I know but I will be in the hospital on October 3-4 for a hip replacement) and I expect the GDP to be ready around mid October

It’s been hot as hell in Rhode Island this past week. Mid 90s and very high humidity. It was also very breezy last night and my GDP had a very large branch break. It wasn’t complete but it was drooping pretty good. Was a big huge lower branch and if it doesn’t make it, I’m sure it will take a large portion of the anticipated take with it.
I’m guessing the broken portion will yield “about a pound” by itself
It’s been bandaged up and is now in traction. What do you guys / gals think about it’s chances for survival? And what, if any, are the ramifications? It is stressed. I am stressed

Ugh lol!! I don’t know how you outdoor gals / guys do this. Killed one small plant over the weekend and cutting rotting bud from the other small NL today. Rain! Fog! Caterpillars! Caterpillar shit!
The big plants don’t seem to be hit yet! Yet being the key word.
Been shaking all the water off when I can. Those showers are a little sticky. Going to get the leaf blower going and dry everything as best I can and then I’m going to spray with the baking soda mix.
What else can I do??
Indoors is so much easier. And with all this contamination outdoors I’m having to be very disciplined to make sure I don’t contaminate my indoor garden.
I guess it was wishful thinking lol. Sure, grow a decent outdoor crop and you can grow less indoor. Ha!!

Rough season in NE, started off with nothing but rain, no real spring ..went from wet and humid to hot and humid and now it's wet and humid again, I remember spring and fall, but I don't see it much anymore?

I'm just north of you and not only do they tax the weed up here too but it sucks! After a couple months of that overpriced crap I was already planning my grow after several decades off.
-good luck!

*btw, check out copper fungicide, I had better luck with it then with baking soda

Been a tough September and October so far in the Northeast. I’m pretty sure there’s no such thing as the sun. It’s been overcast and drizzly and just plain crappy here for weeks. More rain on the way.
I was hoping to harvest my northern lights prior to Oct 3 due to a hospital stay. They weren’t ready. Took down most of the plant this weekend. Pretty much all the tops had rot. The plant never got full sun but it did grow large. Harvest was somewhat easy as it was my intention from the start that this plant would be used to make fresh frozen bubble and oil.
Buds were fairly small but I’m finding northern lights is just that way, and after taking about 1/2 the plant I’ve got 5 gallons of freezer bags full of nice sticky material for hash.
Hoping to finish taking it down today between nurse and therapist visits and if I find the energy
The gdp has been really thinned out and is definitely starting to fade. Buds are fat and dense on this one and I’m chasing a little bit of mold every day but so far it hasn’t really been as bad as I have made it seem. I’m hoping for a few more weeks in this one but watching every day.

So I left three tops on the NL looking for really Amber trichomes. Hopefully they make it til then
The GDP is not ready yet. Still a lot of clear and really just starting to purple. I cut rot and treat every day. Probably should just give in and chop but I’m stubborn. I will get at least 1/2 cola to the finish!!
Oh and in case you’re wondering. It is raining in Rhode Island today and will tomorrow and will 4 more times in the next 7 days. UGH
