RH, smell, and stickyness....?

I was just reading a past issue of urban garden, one of many magazines a cali buddy sent me. In it was an article about how some stress can be good for the plant. Most of which everyone knows like air pruning roots, LSTing, topping, and all that jazz. The only one new to me, that might pertain to our favorite plant, was lowering RH at the end of flowering. It stated that if you lower the RH at the end of a flowering cycle the plant with create more oils and resin to further protect itself during the finishing stages of its life. It said the plant will be noticeably more oily and its smell will increase. I don't know if anyone has seen a correlation between lowering RH and sticky stinky buds but I thought I'd throw it out there. My RH is always low so I wouldn't be able to test it. Lemme know what you think. The guy who wrote the arcticle was spot on in many other areas in the past, including something I just got done testing. He previously stated that keeping you temps locked in the same light and dark will result in squatter plants easier to handle indoors.... I present you with my proof no lsting .... not even the squattiest one of the bunch ..... and its a male lol.
