reversing my osmosis to get more aero in my ponics

whats up everybody :leaf:

this is my first journal. from 1 bean to dwc bucket. from dwc bucket to 34 clones in an aero cloner. finally from aero cloner to a 30 site aeroflo if its a girl

if its not we'll run with something i already have :weed:

so here's what i got.

veg. room consists of an 8 lamp 4ft t5. in the closet of my room.

in the flower room i have 4 400w hps lights and 1 1000w switchable

i also have a light mover that i've been to lazy to put up. fuckin shame on me :-(

i just got a reverse osmosis setup with a 55 gal. barrel and a float valve. brought my water from 500 ppm right out of the tap to 23 ppm. exciting times!

i have 1 aeroflo 30 site (purchased retail) and one 30 site homemade aeroflo.
my ass still hurts from the original aeroflo.

i have a couple dwc buckets flowering also, my cherry busters haha. so far i love dwc. but i'm alot better with aero!

down to business. cause with no pics it didn't happen. wanna put your 2 cent in? fire away!

i was told this is hash plant from the dude i got it from. he has never let me down.

i only have 12 in this aero unit so i'd have room for my dwc adventure! i'll get better pics soon. they are at day# 37 i think.

I see your co2 bottle there, did you see added weight when you added it? I have a couple co2 bottles at work, just need a regulator.
Are you using a ppm controler to moniter you co2? Those things are a fuckin grip of money.
How many runs have you made with that set-up? Whats your average yeild?

I'd like to know that, myself. i just ordered my CO2 system a couple of days ago...

man df, i'm sold on co2 bro. it will almost double your yeild and in your instance with heat problems it would fit you like a glove. i dont have the controller. yet! there is a square footage chart i go by for now. i'm on my 4th and 5th run with aero. kinda got a perpetual going and throwing some dwc in the mix instead of a 3rd aero. i score about 2 lbs per run and harvest usually once a month. still don't have my formula worked out yet but i'm getting close!

damn glad you did bro! you're gonna love co2. the only thing i love more than co2 is my reverse osmosis. you wouldn't believe how bad my water is. now that this issue is corrected i should see some amazing results!

I'll most definitely be watching.

I'm workin' with shitty water, too. That's why I only use filtered water from the store, man. 3 or 4 gallons a week. It dont add up too much. Ima get me a reverse osmosis system when I get a more stable room.

I might need your help with assembling the damn CO2 setup, when I get it... I've never used one, and I'll fuck around and blow the house up.

Yo D,
So how do you have your ventilation set up? Is your exaust timed with your co2?
How big is your tank/how long does it last? I have a big 50lb bottle and a regulator(a welding one, not a timed one) So guess what im asking is are you able to maintain a constant(or close) ppm with out getting a expensive controller? By timing your co2 to come on after you exaust your room or something.
Oh and by the way i got me heat issue figured out! My fuckin exaust under the house was smashed by some animal tring to keep warm this winter. Damn cats!!

yeah i'm stingy with the co2. it comes on every other hour for 15 minutes at 6 psi. supposedly thats the math that fills my room. i havent burnt them so i feel good with it this way. my fan comes on for 15 minutes before the co2 to exhaust the room. so far no heat probs but summers around the corner.

Your gonna' end up making me get all my hydroponic shit back out. Every time I see the pic of all your budded clones, I start thinking about 3 PVC pipes full of SLH clones... :shock:

I've never done aeorponics. I have a self-built topfeed(veg) and an ebb-and-flow(bud) hydroponic setup. Similar to the one in Mr.Greens I Grow Chronic vid. Hopefully I'd have the same success your having.
