so i'm trying to reveg the stalk after harvest, and clone some small flowering branches.
my first time cloning so i got a cheap clone starter from my local grow shop with some roottech cloning gel, a sheet of rockwool, humidity dome, and razors all for $20.

here are the clones hopefully rooting..

and here's the stalk, its really small and doesnt have any leaves left. do you think it will still grow?

any advice on cloning/reveging would be appreciated

No. That plant is done my friend.

clones may have a shot though.. good luck.
advice - lighting - 24/0 and don't give up on them. They will look like mutants, but they will sort themselves out.

Keep an eye on that stick. If still has some green in it, it could come back. I've written off plants before (orange and money tree), only to see them come back. Then again, don't count on it.
The clones look good.

Just asking, but why didn't you just take some clones while it was in veg? I notice a lot of folks do this reveg thing and never quite understood why.

yeah its got a couple branches leaves growing. well i only thought about cloning after i harvested all the bigger bud. i wish i had cloned during veg, i just realized i could with all the small buds left and did.

Keep us updated as to how the clones do... I have never taken clones that late in flower - and can't say I've SEEN anyone do it either...it'll be interesting to see how they work out. Just don't give up on them.. they may take some their sweet time before they do anything.. but once they do - you will have a hella bush. (to answer the other guy's question about why guys do it_ Some people - like the OP want to save the genetics of a particular plant and take clones in flower. Others - like me - find that when the plants re-veg you will get more branching than a clone taken from a veg plant. More branches allow more clones to be taken once the plant does re-veg. Also, will be more bud sites when you flower.. more bud is a good thing.)

Be patient and look up monster cropping. With no leaves to take in light and create energy I wouldn't count on much with the twigs but a good root base could surprise us all. New growing methods(as well as a lot other inventions) come from mistakes. As a great example my favorite method is FIM. It stands for Fuck I Missed. When topping if you go a little high you can get 4 and sometimes 6 main stems from one. If those clones do well you will have done what is now known as Monstercropping. Basic theory is that clones taken during flower(best at 21 days into flower?) with little starter buds on top ends up producing more main stems than FIMing does on the first snip alone. Here is a great breakdown that I recently found....http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=115377

ive taken clones late in flower and they will root, but may take a couple extra weeks to begin veg.......i have a few plants revegging that i didnt clones because i wasnt sure of bud.....reveg takes about three weeks to a month to see any new growth.....lets not forget that mj is still a weed and has a will to survive....i wouldnt count her out just yet
