Its not too bad caveman, just starting to get a little stronger now.

I have to admit that I'm struggling recently for enthusiasm for growing, but hopefully as this develops and I get more plants into flower things should pick up.

Here's the single cola MK, about 3 more weeks to fill out yet so I can see the method is working, the bud is quite dense not fluffy and well frosted for this stage. I'm going to stick with the method/small pots etc but try to pack a few more in there. I have 1 NL baby in there now, the other seed germinated but just grew a single leaf then stopped! Never seen that before but the seed was very small and looked slightly immature to me as soon as I saw it. Going to order some Snow Whites again now and whack a couple of those in next.

I hate to hear your struggles maturesmoker, but I understand them oh so well! Just bear with it and you'll be rewarded. Maybe not as much as you like, but that's the way it goes for small scale growing.

I figure my lemon skunk will look about like your single cola MK when it gets bigger. Its only a week in since it showed sex now.


Glad to see an update, worried you disappeared too! Your grow is as inspirational as v12xjs was for me, but we do still get to see his some!
 
Yeah very sorry to hear that mate, as gumball said just stick it out and you will be rewarded well :) after all you are mr mature and have been doing this alot longer than most members on here so I'm sure you have experienced just about every up and down!! Ive have felt a bit down about all this growing stuff for a while now but things are starting to pick up for me now aswell still miles from bud but the future looks good :)

And hell yeah that mk is gonna fatten up loads now and your watering method is deffo paying off, are you still using the seaweed mix?
 
Thanks for the words of encouragement caveman and Gumball. I know were all in the same boat really, just trying to grow enough weed for ourselves in a restricted space, but some times you just long for one 4 foot beauty again, heavy with buds :-) Still, that's life so I need to keep going and make the most of what I have here.

The MK's are 9 weeks today, taking off 3 weeks to show preflowers that puts them roughly 6 weeks into flower. Now we should see some fattening up :-) Here's the single cola plant again as I'm judging this method now by this plant, all future plants will be short single cola examples like this one and I'll be careful not to burn them! This buds sitting with 4 CFL's literally just an inch or so away from the bud and clustered around it, the fan is keeping temps down to 70 now as I leave the doors open most of the day.

I'll have 2 more seeds starting this week to fill the box up a little, that will make 5 total at different stages so far. I THINK I'm going with the Snow White again as said above. MK's are just showing some red in the leaf as is common with Kush strains when night temps get down a little cool.

I'm not going to piss around with this any longer, and so my plan is to have 5 or 6 little single cola plants in that box in the near future :-)

That snowwhite sounds good to me mate :) surely if you just stick to planting a femd seed every two weeks there will be no way of you running out of bud, using your watering method and in time you will get an awesome harvest every week or two.

We dont need all those big 4 foot plants do we now! yes it would be nice but once you get a good rotation going with small plants it should all be good. have you thought about a HID upgrade? not doubting the cfl's one bit but it wouldnt cost alot to add something like i have just added, a 70w cmh and then let the plants that are near done spend its last 2 weeks underneath it could work wonders :) the wiring was really straight forward and i can point you in the right direction if you wanted

looking forward to see them buds fatten up :)
 
hey mature, looking good mate, as we get older i guess everything loses its shine...........go on get an hps, they dont take much space ,build yourself a nice new cab for chrimbo, you know you want to...

Sorry for the lack of updates folks :-) caveman, I'll empty my inbox!

OK, so I sacrificed one MK bud by bud to keep me smoking but I'm confident I'll catch up with myself now. I focused on this one MK and I'd say I've achieved what I set out to, a very short, single cola cola plant that takes up little room in my box and means I could do 4 or 5 at any one time so ensure future supply. if I can keep a rolling grow producing nice solid colas like this one the future should be rosy :-) I'm confident she will give a good 14g+ dry so aim now is to harvest on a 3 weekly cycle by Christmas. She has another couple of weeks to fill out more before chop.

The Northern Lights has now stretched her roots and hot the bottom of the pot, so she should start to go now. I'm ready to germinate the next plant now, decided on another Master Kush with a Snow White to follow.

Del, there's only one thing stops me from going bigger with this and that's the fear of another knock on the door mate :-) I wasn't going to stop BUT I knew that if it ever happened again I could stand in court and present evidence of a micro grow under household low energy bulbs with a few 10" plants inside it !!!! makes a mockery of the law :-)

Damn dude, sweet set-up. Congrats on some beautiful looking plants. I was wondering if you could post up some pics. of the plants actually inside the cupboard. I'd like to see the height challenge on the plants and to see how close the lights are. I am extremely interested in creating this kind of set-up and grow and have a few ?'s. Thanks, GSB.:clap:

Hi del, No I received a police caution for first offence, but it was going through that whole experience of criminalisation over what I regarded as a harmless hobby in my own home that got to me. I had 14 small-ish flowering plants under a 600 HPS in the loft, different strains. Been about 2 and a half years now though :-) I like to keep everything small and simple now.

SICC, it was your party cup grow that inspired me to try the small pots, I'm using a litre of soil in cut down water bottles.

Beachside: I'll get a couple of shots later of the plants in the cabinet. Looks quite empty atm but next few weeks should change that :-)
