Reservoir Temp question

I have a question with res temps. Mine is kinda high (70-77) I want to get it to between 60-70. I was wondering if I should lower my res down next res change. I usually fill it with 10 gal of solution and this put the water pretty close to the nets. Oh this is a DIY bubbleponic setup. As of now I put in 3 frozen 20 ounce soda bottles in there 3 times a day. I was thinking maybe back the water down to maybe 8 gallons so the water volume doesn't melt the ice in the bottles so quickly. Any suggestions on this subject would be most appreciated

start saving milk jugs and filling with water. put into the freezer wrap it in a few bags. leave it in there. it should be freezing fucking cold, but not frozen.

I use water filled, frozen, 2 liter bottles....I put 1 2 liter bottle in my res when I switch lights on and again when I switch the lights off....my res temp has been staying at 66-70 lately, weathers been nice, when it get warmer, might go with 3 bottles a day, or might switch to 3 liter bottles or even gallon jugs....ghetto, but affordable.....
