Reserva privada skywalker or sour diesel?

Feedback from people with experience growing either of these strains (and their opinions) is what this thread is for. Nothing else.

i have a couple skywalkers going and they look great (sativa leaning as it should be) and smell very lemony/diesel. This is exactly the smell I am looking for but wondering how the sour diesel compares?

lets try to keep it to these strains please, not other seedbank variants.

I've been running sky walker for about 4 runs now. I found a pheno that was like double the size of the other 3 plus it tasted an smelled crazy good. If I have a bud in my pocket an I'm talking a bowl full size bud you would clearly smell it 10 ft away no doubt about it. I can't take it anywhere.

i guess this has been out [r/p-seed version] for about a year or so after trying holy grail & their og kush i was hesitant to try this & my first run from seed refused to bud after the flip [i later found out i had people opening my room during lights out] i almost tossed it & im glad i didnt as this is my new favorite in spite of its stretch when handled right the finished product i really good this round is in coco using gh 3- part flora series nutes i flipped the light 12/12 & cloned sunday here is todays pics this stuff is kind of timid when young but gets aggressive after the flip this is my first time using 2 gal smart pots last grow was in 3gal. smart pots & happy frog soil im really happy with this strain

I'd be pissed if some1 had interupted my ladies sleep.

I've seen/smoked some R/P SourD phenotype(not mine) and they were good(not quite like the real cut)

I've grown some R/P skywalker kush(friend gave half pack) and had 2 that looked the same as the one pictured above.

Go with Skywalker kush if you want something worth keeping around.
I didn't keep any R/P Skywalker kush phenotype that I grew because the original cut is available @ my dispensary.

Timid when young is right. My gals were suuuuper slow in veg. So much I thought there was something wrong with them... They have exploded in flower. Initial stretch before budding up was about 6x their height from when I put them in flower. Crazy, maybe great for eliminating veg for these.

Kindnug, great to hear. Exactly the hands on feedback I want bro. I'm loving the smell of this stuff too, it's takin over my room.

hey ray i might of missed it but are you growing your skywalkers from seed or clone??? the clones do everything faster than plants started from seeds [at least my skywalkers did] i put in a screen this time as the stems are small in diameter & last grow i had to tie a lot of them up & i had some that literaly ended upside down from the dense little nugs i averaged about 1&1/4 oz. off each of the 6 plants i had under the 600w. hps in happy frog soil & 3 gal smart pots

Have you tried 6x 5gal under a 600w? That's what I do
I average 2+ oz per plant (with OG cuts), and heavier yielding plants I get 3.5oz+ per plant in the 5gal smartpots.

Outdoors you need the biggun's + grow some monster tree's. 20gal+

my current batch is in coco in an e&f tub under 400w. hps thats good info i'd be happier-n-hell with 2 zips per plant im using the 2 gal smart pots & flooding once a day

Yeah mine were from bean. I got a few cloned and coming up in veg, good to know. They were CRAZY slow as beans. Weird though, my clones are still seeming slow. I noticed one of them finally spread out enough leaf to start absorbing the light, then she kicked off. The others haven't caught up yet.

Using 3 gallon smarts I'm lookin to pull at least 1.5 per. Looking like it will be closer to 2..

im not an established soil grower but a friend of mine is doing almost identical as you the skywalker clones generaly show bud nubbins 9 days after the flip these are mine at day#7 of 12/12 my friend has done 2 grows & harvested the last one at day #55 since the flip i harvested at day#63 since the flip trichs were clr/milk 50/50% cloning really speeds this stuff up it took me 3 weeks to show bud sign frow seed & from clone it only takes a little over a week i was shocked at the difference this [as ive said before] is both the most challenging & rewarding strain all in one kinda boring when young & saves the best for last you never get the best a strain has to offer in 1 grow & this is no exception

Man that's really great news, I'm actually noticing my clones moving faster day by day.

I will post some pics in about a week of my clones coming into flower and also my gals that are almost done. Skywalker is impressing me man, def gonna be around for awhile

It is a sign you have a phenotype leaning to the original Skywalker OG cut.

i call it pheno #3 & is the only 1 im running there was pheno #4 which had more side branching but didnt yield as good & there was another pheno i called #2 that practacly refused to clone & grew real slow pheno #1 ended up being identical to #3 out of 6 seeds i broke the tap root & killed 1 baby & 1 didnt pop leaving me with the 4 plants

I have been looking for that signature three leaf but honey found it low on my undergrowth before trim. Nothing my other strains don't end up with.. Still, the smell is ligit and the growth is as expected so I'm happy. Smell keeps getting more sour skunky everyday.
