I just pick up some purple wreck (purple urkle x trainwreck) fem seeds. It's been a while since I have seen these in stock. What does everyone think? Not much info out there on this strain but from what I hear it should be tasty.

I was going to grow this but it was sold out for what seemed like a year, so i got Qrazy train instead. RP is usually good, but i read that it hardly turns purp.

I got 2 of those beans as freebies a while ago. It's hard to get, apparently, which tells me it will probably be pretty good.

i got them last year when there were regulars. they were hard to crack. ive been planting 2 or 3 at a time looking for a female but no luck yet. i only have five left. good luck

I have been working with the whole RP lineup for a little over a year now, the purple wreck has two distinct phenos. One is short compact and dense purple nugs, the other is a little more stretchy, but it fills in with some light green/ purple nugs that smell of straight citrus. I kept the citrus pheno because it was so hard to find. Out of all of their genetics, I like to keep this one for a morning/day smoke. The only down side to the purple wreck is that the Urkle slows the plant down and hurts the yield. I always test a strain's max potential with 1 plant per 1000w and my 6ft purple wreck that was scrog'd only pulled 6oz in a 25gal smart pot, where I would normally pull at least 12-16 with some of their other genetics like confidential cheese, chocolope, or kandy kush.

My Kandy Kush was a terrible yielder. Slow as fuck to veg too.

Well since they have been out of stock for while hopefully rp worked it to perfection. I noticed a gap in reviews on this particular hybrid and most of the ones I've read were mixed but overall good. Many sites were stating average yields 400-500g/m2 . I like to think that U.S. genetics is a top contender in the cannabis world which was another reason for my impulse buy on these seeds. Let me know if anyone else has had any personal experience with this strain...I'm still waiting on my order :-D

hi everyone just finished purple wreak an to be honest i will NOT do this strain again heres why, there 2 pheno types as sirkushalot said both a poor yields one is small an more purple an the other is very stretchy with horrible side growth that you have to hold up no matter what.compared to the blueberry from dutch passion that i did at same time which were a pleasure to grow from start to end..purple wreak just didnt compare.ive wanted to do pw for 2years now so very disappointing.. any novice growers do not want to start wiv this strain an anyone who has be very careful with nutes..only saving grace is the end product is divine very citrusy full of flavour nice first thing in the morning..

I bought a pack of Purple Wreck a few months back. I haven't popped any of them yet though. I really haven't seen to many people on here that has even grown it yet. I'm not a huge fan of purple strains, but I wanted to at least try one. I hope that it turns out to be a good strain.

how's that chocolope smoke? i really want to try that. chocolate & fruit strains sound awesome. agent orange x chocolope? sour lemon chocolate? what would REALLY be delicious i bet would be buddha's sister x chocolope. chocolate covered cherries are about the only good thing in a box of chocolates to me.

purptw 2wk flwr.jpg Here is a purplewreck cut I got off a friend of myn. He wasn't able to tell me much about it and I don't see him that much. So im just growing it out and seeing what I am working with. I have smoked the same clone before.it was tight limegreen buds with nice deep purple hues all through it. I remember it smelling fruity/grapey but overall I got stoned and forgot the little things...Long story short me and my old lady smoked it on are way to walmart and by the time we got there we were both stoned to the bone laughing and chink eyed! we walked around grocery shopping for a hour just bullshitting all the way around the store. We ended up with a bunch of junk food mostly for are food supply to...was cool but damn we got hungery later during the week! lol so all in all I have had a good experience with this cutting so far! Its a bit of a slow grower but its not the worst strain I have grown! I am real familiar with trainwrecks.I had 3 diff cuttings at one point.2 crosses and the original arcata. I can deff see the tw in this but it seems more to the urkle side of the genetics! Its about 3weeks into flower now maybe! So soon I will get to try her out! also my friends flower room is in the 80s and he gets decent purpling on the buds.like I said just streaks through the lime green.so in my super cool setup that gets down to 65 I am crossing my fingers for a good purple mother! :) Hope everyone enjoys there Purplewrecks! I give it a 8/10 right now! We will give it the true test soon. I wanna see if its purple and keeps that good tw potency! That's ultimately what I am looking for.
